Holiday rentals with breakfast in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal

We stayed in Katherine's place at a very difficult time - we came to DC for our son's heart surgery. We could not have been happier to be staying in such a comfortable, lovely, and truly homey place during this difficult time. The house is very practical, with a perfect lay out (it was my husband and I, our two kids, and our in laws staying at the house, and we had plenty of space). The play room and the variety of toys and books were absolutely amazing for the kids to be happy and entertained at home for hours on end, while my son recuperated from the surgery - the layout is excellent, because you can cook, or relax in the living room, while being able to monitor the kids at all times in the playroom. Katherine was very responsive, flexible and a please sure interact with at all times. The DC summer heat and mosquitos did not allow us to enjoy the backyard as much as we hoped, but in a different weather, the backyard would for sure be wonderful to enjoy.

This cottage is beautifully designed and impossibly cozy! We felt relaxed and at home the moment we walked in. The spacious yard was perfect for our dogs, and the hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. With great restaurants and plenty to do all around, it was the perfect spot for our family get-together. We hope to be back!

We had a such a wonderful time! Everything we needed was there and more: plenty of coffee, granola bars for the hikes, coal for the grill. We felt right at home. Thank you for this wonderful place!

Above & beyond! The home was in a great spot with an excellent price. Tim was extremely accommodating with our requests and communication was perfect. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs and butter. The cupboards were stocked with staples and all the supplies we needed - toilet soap, shampoo, Kleenex, paper towels, bath towels, snacks, granola bars, etc. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone and would use again. The only problem or suggestion is to allow people to change reservation as long as they want. I paid for an extra day that I did not need. I had to check out a day earlier because I did not know how things were going. I would stay here again next year.

I can't say enough how much my mom and I needed this peaceful setting to rest and restore. The home was beautiful and the surrounds were very relaxing. Watching the horses in the morning and evening along with a glass of coffee or wine was wonderful. We were visiting Gettysburg and this was just the right distance from all of the sites. We also went to Lisa's restaurant twice while visiting and had wonderful meals in downtown Gettysburg. The extra touches were amazing as well, cookies, eggs, chocolate milk and a special treat from the Silos was nice too. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

Our countryside escape was just what we needed. The home was peaceful and full of charm — exactly as described. Waking up to the quiet sounds of nature and sipping coffee with scenic views made each day feel like a retreat. The host was thoughtful and responsive, making check-in and communication seamless. This place is SO nice!! It’s in one of those very nice peaceful and private neighborhoods. Lawrence and Sharon are super nice people. When I arrived I felt like the apartment was my home. Everything they say they provide in the listing is there and then some. The food in the fridge was a very nice touch. There’s even a bag of ice in the freezer.The kitchen is great! I cooked breakfast and made lunch with ease. I love that there is a dishwasher. The washer and dryer machines are really good quality! The walk in closet in the bedroom is niiice even though we didn’t really use it, but we used the hamper in there. The living room was very comfy. Everything is neat and clean. I really felt like it was our home. Everything you need is provided to you. There were directions throughout on how to use appliances. There is a binder with recommendations on restaurants, supermarkets, things to do, etc. I would 100% recommend this place and I hope to come back next year! Thank you!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4nights to visit a family relative in DC. Great place and great price! Corbin was very helpful with everything we needed! We were able to check in without problem. Very safe place and close to a lot of places. We will surely be staying here again the next time we are in DC. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Corbin!

This place was in a great location! One block from the metro and a nice bar/restaurant called Bullfeathers very close by. We would stay here again. The only addition I would ask John to consider is to add a small cutting board to the kitchen. John was a great host as he left us a wide assortment of snacks, answered our questions quickly and he left us detailed information with a map to help us even more. Thanks John we had a great time!

Rebecca’s place was much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. So happy that our dogs were able to stay with us! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a path nearby that lead to a playground and area to walk our dogs. Will definitely stay again!

Lynn’s space was super cozy, close to all the sightseeing stuff and great restaurants, and overall in a beautiful neighborhood. The parking was a plus! Definitely will book again if I’m ever back in DC!

My partner and I both stayed here during my visit to MD. I absolutely loved this home. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. The beds and blankets were so soft and it was a peaceful stay with our own entrance/exit. Denise was extremely kind and helpful, even reassuring me when I accidentally broke a magnet clip. My partner and I adore this home and will be staying here again if its available for our next trip. Here is what my partner had to say: Okay so some things i wanted to talk about: the catering was LOVELY. Great assortment of snacks and even a delicious maryland pastery that I didnt know existed (as a maryland native) Such clean, caring, and kind people that really did think of everything. One little note, if you are tall at all, there is a hanging lamp in the living room. Do NOT walk with your head down. Or you will bump into it. I had some close calls being 6'3 haha. Not a demerit on there end but something to be cautious of nonetheless!

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

Anne’s place was great for my week long stay in Baltimore. It was about 17 minutes from JHU, less than 15 minutes from the Harbor and National Aquarium, close to Baltimore local favorites, and directly across from a park. Anne was responsive to all my concerns and needs. The apartment was clean and had an abundance of extra towels and sheets for our use. The only comment I have is about the TV and Wifi which were both slow and lagged when doing work. Everything else was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

John's place is so lovely in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and park, just 6 minutes to the Metro and train station by driving, 12-15 minutes to water front and King Street with bunch of restaurants. The bed is super comfortable, and all kinds of snack food in the room. The sweetest part is the peeled and sliced fruit in the refrig…John and Rick are very kind, we must choose here again and strongly recommend to those visit Alexandria.

One of the best places I have stayed. Gary was very accommodating and super helpful when providing detailed instructions to check in. Wished we had more time to stay and chat, however, we were only there for the duration of a conference nearby.

INCREDIBLE! I was a little worried about staying in someone else's home with them - but the way that Bruce has the place set up feels incredibly private and safe. In addition, the space is beautiful and in a great location. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR! I was very comfortable here and highly recommend this accommodation!

We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

This was one of my favorite AirBnBs. Cynthia’s cottage is beautifully designed and very comfortable. My husband and I stayed there one night for our wedding anniversary. The fresh flowers, pastries, chocolates, and other thoughtful details made the place feel very warm and caring. It was a gem! It was above and beyond any place we have stayed before, and we would not hesitate to go back again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay for the second time with Brian and Sinziana. The suite was exactly as we remembered it and their home has lovely gardens and is conveniently located. It was quiet and peaceful and they were outstanding hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast was outstanding and we could not have had a better stay! We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Frederick.

I love stayed in here she’s definitely more than a host super friendly and make me feel like home and her friend !!❤️ so thankful of stayed here the place it’s a beautiful green area and everything in the room was so clean and comfy bathrooms clean everything was perfect loved it !!
