This is a separate house for guests in a rural house located in a quiet rural village 15 minutes by car to the sea of Gangneung. Although the building is connected, it is composed of a separate building with a separate entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area where you can experience barbecue with an electric grill (no charcoal/campfire due to the risk of wildfire). If you come with children, you can also try seasonal activities with the owner couple, who are like a rural grandmother and grandfather. The room is not large, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It's narrow for 3 or more adults. We also prepare breakfast with a home-cooked meal like mom's only for those who request it (extra charge). Enjoy the countryside atmosphere and warm hospitality on the way to see the sea of Gangneung.

The front of the house is surrounded by cherry trees, and Maison de Lune means the house of cherry blossoms. This is a European-style accommodation that occasionally borrows the second house of a host who likes to travel. We only rent for dates other than family use during long periods of overseas travel, so we always maintain a clean condition. Near the accommodation, where the hanoks are clustered, you can take a walk to Gyeongpo Lake and the low-lying area, which is quiet but a 1-minute walk away, and there are tofu restaurants and wine bar coffee shops nearby. It is a small new building in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from Gangneung Station.Since my major was interior design, I was also interested in architecture.I put that long-standing desire into the Romantic House. It is a multi-story building with a modern and interesting structure built with a combination of white tones and wood. There are bathrooms on the first and second floors, and it is completely blocked from the outside, but it is designed to allow light and wind to pass through. The view, sunlight, and wind from the second floor are exotic, special, and even quiet. In the small garden on the deck side of the first floor, the flowers that bloom You can forget your daily life for a while and enjoy the freedom to wash your mind.

Hanok/Healing/Exclusive use of the yard/Leisure/Golmala/Netflex free

You can watch the video by searching “Hanok from the Japanese Colonial Period as a Second Home” on YouTube. The birth of Golmalga dates back to 1938. The wooden structure, which has stood for 86 years, has plenty to do with some crumbling spots. We saved the circle as much as possible with the hanok column, and we replaced some of the absences that we couldn't save, so that the past and present hang out in the wooden structure. Every space indoors was taken care to be visually communicated with the outside yard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the coziest place in this house. We hope you will experience the past and the present during your stay at ’Golmalga'.

A comfortable house right in front of Gangneung Station

It is located near Gangneung Station, so you can walk for about 7 minutes, and it is located in the center of Gangneung City, so you can easily access anywhere in Gangneung.
