Holiday rentals with lake access in City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality

We did not leave the area, purely because we wanted a relaxing weekend away. We didn’t want to drive far, and was happily surprised by the beauty surrounding us just outside of the city. KVEV was exactly what we wanted. Perfectly clean with everything that we needed, private, and a fantastic spa treatment. Nomkhosi ensured that we had everything that we needed, and checked in with a message every morning and evening. She ensured that she met us personally to run through the amenities of the house. I will definitely recommend this little piece of paradise for anybody that needs that relaxing and quiet weekend away. Thank you for making this so special! A memory made that will never be forgotten.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mia’s home . What a welcoming and peaceful environment, beautifully designed and decorated home that flexes a trophy fireplace in the middle of the living space. This place is great for group or even more private settings , there is nothing Mia doesn’t cater for. I had booked for my birthday celebration, a party of 10 and I look forward to booking with Mia again .

Our Stay was pleasant. the place met all our expectations and also looked exactly as it is advertised. The host Keesha was soo helpful and also able to give us directions on who to talk to at the property. The place was also very nice with a backdrop on the patio that we used to take pictures . The place is breathtaking... The pictures ain't doing it justice shame. Everything was clean and spot on. Madam Aisha was the best host, very active when you need help or anything, and she also has a loving personality. The place honestly felt like home. I would recommend it to my friends and family and I would definitely book in any day as long as I am visiting Harties site.

The whole experience was amazing -it really exceeded my expectations! My partner loved it so much since I booked for his birthday. But It would’ve been nice if they included a blanket since it was a bit cold, or maybe aircon could be added in the future. But the fleece blanket and the fan heater helped during the stay, since the wall panel heater took time to warm the house. The gravel road going in was a bit hectic, so I’d suggest using a bigger car or making sure you have everything you need so you don’t have to head out again. Other than that, it’s a solid 10/10 from me! Everything was stunning, super aesthetic and private. I highly recommend it for a relaxing couple get away.

wow, there's so much to say and I don't want to rumble. amazing space first of all it looks way better than the descriptions... it's quiet, beautiful,spacious and most of all clean... had a friend who said she was happy with the sheets because they were actually clean. Yolanda, Kyla and Nel were amazing, so hospitable friendly. They upgraded our apartment because they were concerned of the safety of the other guests who couldn't sleep over. They went above and beyond.

Lufuno’s place is absolutely stunning, The home was very warm and welcoming, the linen is fresh, the entire house is clean and tidy. The estate is quiet, private and peaceful especially if you’re looking for a home away from home. The host was responsive and proactive, gave clear instructions. The host wasn’t available during our stay, however Kodi, the sister in law was and she too was very helpful, proactive and eager to assist at all times. My family and I had an amazing time here. Would highly recommend.✨

Celebrated my birthday at the most beautiful place ever , Sis Idah was so responsive and kind . She check in every step of the way I’m sure she realised it as my first time at that location . Villa Lexington is a dream to stay at! The pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s in a great area, quiet and peaceful! The place is spacious, modern, immaculate and inviting! Angela is a kind and very responsive host, we were well informed about everything from gate codes, check-in and she was even lenient to give us a much needed 1-hour late check-out which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back and will consider Villa Lexington our first choice when needing to stay in the area.

We stayed with three couples at Ibis River Retreat and had two cottages. Both cottages were super private, have their own private jacuzzi, which we enjoyed a lot. We had a lovely Braai in the evening and took a nice walk down to the river in the morning. We also booked a couples massage down at the Pool, which we would 100% recommend! Already one night felt like a full holiday and we felt absolutely rested and will definitely come back next time we’re in South Africa! Especially being so close to Johannesburg Airport (50 minutes drive), but still feeling like out in the wild surprised me very positively!

Tanja's cabins were peaceful and private along the river and were well stocked with kitchen supplies. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. While there are several other cabins each felt as if we were all by ourselves. The rivers edge is walkable and fishable with many different water birds and we even saw an otter and kudu. This is a gem of a place (thw caretakers as well) and I highly recommend!

This charming riverside cabin (Fish eagle) is the perfect romantic getaway. Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot, it offers a cozy, immaculate space with a breathtaking view of the river. The highlight of our stay was the relaxing jacuzzi, where we could unwind and take in the stunning scenery around us. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like our own private retreat. The friendly staff, especially Ilse and Tanja, were welcoming and made sure our experience was flawless, adding to the overall sense of relaxation. Whether it was sipping coffee by the river in the morning or enjoying a soothing soak in the hot tub at night, this place offered the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and tranquility. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to recharge and reconnect with your loved one, this cabin is an absolute must. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable stay!
