Homey, comfortable spot in a homey, comfortable neighborhood. Public transit options are just a couple of blocks away, as are great restaurants and bars. The floor to ceiling windows to the yard make the space feel bigger than it is. A lot of AirBnBs in this neighborhood feel like a room at a Motel 6 that just happens to be in someone’s garage, but this place is actually a nice place to live for however long you’re there. Kerkyra was quick to respond to my questions as well. :)

I've stayed at Mike's place 7 or 8 times now. It's one of my favorite Airbnbs of all time. Basically, I won't come to Portland unless I can stay here--it's that good. It's beautiful, bright, comfortable, has everything you need and is in a great neighborhood. Mike is a great host!

This was my second stay with Andrea and it didn’t disappoint. Cozy and calm retreat within walking distance of all the Mississippi fun. Loved having morning coffee with my dog on the outdoor patio space. This is earmarked on my Portland list for my future trips.

Jacob’s place is as advertised and was great. The neighborhood is a classic Portland residential district and about a 4 minute drive from the cool, quirky venues in St Johns. Jacob is personable, and his place is quiet and very comfortable. I look forward to staying again as I’m a frequent visitor of Portland and Jacob’s is among the best places I’ve stayed.

Jenny and Asmund’s place is wonderful- it’s a very comfortable, well designed space with everything you need. The place is at the back of their lovely garden with its own patio. The plantings in the yard provide a verdant and private space. Parking on the street was easy, and the neighborhood is great: close to good restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, etc. Highly recommend!

Petra was an awesome host, we loved our stay. Petra was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The garden in the backyard is really peaceful, the big garage windows bring in a lot of light in the day time creating a very cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed my stay and would come again next time I visit the city.

I really enjoyed my stay in this adorable cottage. It was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the separate outdoor area. The hosts were so kind and very responsive to anything I needed. They put up an outdoor umbrella, which was nice on those hot days. The unit itself stayed very cool. I didn't have to use the a/c much. I found the location to be ideal for walking to Alberta Street and also to Woodlawn Coffee and Pastry. I hope to return in the future.

Has all the amenities needed for the kitchen with spices, bathroom, games, iron/iron board, washer/dryer, and blow dryer/mini straightener. It’s such a cozy home that it makes you feel at home and easy access to the freeway. Plenty of snacks and a beautiful patio to relax.

This felt like old AirBnB in the best way. A cozy and lived in space with character; not just an investment flip. Everything was easy, Mark had all the amenities you might need for a weekend trip away, and the neighborhood was really great and had easy access to public transit. Would stay here again in a second!

Loved the quiet neighborhood, nearby park, and enjoyed the hot tub access every morning. Definitely recommend for the location and convenience!

10 stars. Incredibly generous with the snacks, uncomplicated and easy to find and get in and out of the space, ample convenient parking, super clean and charming space. Perfect experience. Absolutely would stay again!

Let's start with Janine and Sarah are GREAT hosts! Amazing communication and super friendly when meeting in person. The place is perfect in every way - well designed, quiet, safe, feels like home. Great back patio space to sit outside for morning coffee, mid-day conference calls, or afternoon spot in the sun. Easy access to find places to shop, eat, and enjoy things in St. Johns. The neighborhood is great for a walk, enjoying the large open streets and trees. Coming and going in and out was always made more fun with greetings from Cosmo, who made things feel like home. If you're looking for a getaway or a long-term stay, don't overlook this amazing place! I know I'm adding to my list of places to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our travels earlier in the day got a little lengthy, so we were late checking in. We’re sorry we weren’t able to enjoy this super cozy guesthouse longer than we did! Excellent airbnb!

We stayed here long-term while house-hunting and had the most amazing time. This space felt like home, the hosts were kind and very welcoming, and the neighborhood was a dream. Very walkable and historic. This ended up being our new favorite neighborhood in Portland! Thank you James for the most perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Awesome stay for small families, the hosts even had a box of kids toys and story books. Lots of restaurants a walk away and in general very beautiful neighborhood. There’s also a park 5min away with a playground.

Lovely home. Very comfortable, clean, and tastefully designed. Big very well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor patio and grill. Quiet residential area but walking distance to all the best of the St. John's neighborhood.

Besides being a nice place in general, we were there during a hot spell and the place was nice and cool when we arrived. We would definitely stay there again.

There were 4 adults in our party. We wanted a nice quiet place away from the busy city to stay but close enough to still do what we came for. This place was perfect! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We bring most of our own food on road trips and they had all the cookware and dishes we could need. A coffee pot was important for me and they had a keurig and a regular pot. They were kind, helpful and very responsive to messages. Overall the place had plenty of room for 4 people. I Hope I have a reason to come back to the area because I would book here again.

I stayed here for 3 months and it was wonderful. Janet was very kind and quick to respond to any questions. I felt very welcomed and was very comfortable in the place. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Pacific Northwest.

It's a great place to stay, perfect for the two of us. The neighborhood is not fancy, but charming, amazingly quiet, and friendly and safe feeling. The cottage is just like the pictures, light airy and attractive. We would definitely stay again!
