Family-friendly holiday rentals in Clarkes Beach

Rod’s place was fantastic. We chose it because we have children aged 1, 2 and 4. It’s walking distance to everything - the beach, the pirate playground, great footpaths for scootering, walking distance to shops and restaurants and the facility also has a pool that is wade-in which meant our young children could splash in the shallow area without us holding them. The apartment was kitted out with everything we needed - and more! We brought our own baby Bjorn travel cot but they have the exact same one in the apartment. There was even a small step for toddlers to reach the sink. We loved having access to a few puzzles and books - we brought our own with us not expecting the apartment to have anything but my 4yo completed Rod’s 100 piece puzzles multiple times! The underground secure carpark is great. We drive a Kia carnival and had no problems with the carpark at all. Rod and Kathy provided very clear instructions and information. It was also extremely clean!

Great spot to share for a wedding in Byron. Walking distance to the town and beach. We enjoyed the hot tub. Good communication with Kaz

What an amazing eye Glen and Nicole have for furnishings, decor and the space in general. There was also prompt responses for any questions I had. The house was spotless and had absolutely everything you need for a long or short stay. The KIZZ pinball machine, guitar and showers were my fav parts and my sisters loved the spa. I can’t wait to get there again! Highly recommended

A beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The house was immaculate and exceeded expectations in terms of beauty and amenities. Jim was the most responsive host we’ve had during any Airbnb stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and the house was in good condition after the cyclone. He was truly fantastic. Because of the cyclone, the private path to the beach was unusable but 200m down the road (Wareham St) was another entrance to the beach which was accessible for my elderly father. The beach is not patrolled this time of year but has shade and was still beautiful despite the erosion/accessibility issues. There was a playground next to the property which worked well for our 2.5 year old (with supervision). A 10 minute walk up the road was a great bakery/coffee, a small grocery store and a great Indian restaurant among other shops. Easy 10-15 minute drive into Byron which has a woolies and is patrolled. Highly recommend.

Our stay was the perfect getaway. Absolutely stunning beach & ocean views, beautiful and clean apartment, exceeding our expectations. Convenient location to accessing cafes, restaurants & grocery stores, which are within a short walking distance. We loved our scenic beach walks to other areas of the Gold Coast, making our experience even more enjoyable. Karine was very informative and kind, always ready and available to help. We hope to return on our next visit to Australia. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Damon's! We were a family group of 12 and had plenty of space. The house is very well equipped with everything you need (and more!). Perfect location - only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes. The beautiful pool and spa were also very well used throughout our stay! Damon was friendly and responsive to messages and we appreciated the offer of a late checkout. Thanks again for a lovely getaway.

Ryan’s place is very good value. It is a short walk (5mns) to town, the pub and beach; has plenty of room; has a secure yard for our dog; and is well-equipped, very well-presented and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay in the quaint town of Bangalow. A lovely town with plenty of eating options and everything on your doorstep. You feel a world away where you can really switch off and relax. Tranquil garden setting and great Air BNB with a brilliant host. We based ourselves in Bangalow and explored throughout Byron, Ballina, and surrounding towns and Hinterland. Can't wait to come back.

Kathy was a wonderful and kind host. We requested early check in and Kathy responded promptly and was able to offer us this which we were very grateful for! The accomodation was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean and felt very homey. There was plenty of cookware, utensils, towels and blankets. There were heaters in each room which kept the rooms warm at night. Overall, very happy with our stay. It was affordable and a great location, only a short walk to the shops, food and the beach! We had a fantastic stay at Simon’s place near Byron Bay. The house was clean, well-equipped, and set in a peaceful location that made it easy to relax and unwind. Simon was a responsive and thoughtful host, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity to both the beach and local cafes was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to the best of Byron.

Lovely and cozy place, felt like home. Also located in a peaceful are but only 5 minutes away (driving) from town centre. Really close Top Shop cafe too, which is definitely a plus.

This house is wonderful if you have kids or a group. Lots of space to spread out and get comfortable. The kitchen is really well stocked so eating in is easy. Jane was so helpful during our stay. Would highly recommend this house, made for a wonderful holiday! We loved our stay here.

The hosts were really helpful and very responsive to my messages. The bnb was so lovely and clean and they even offered for us to check in early. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying there if in casino again.

The only thing I could complain about was that it rained a lot of the time I was there, when I wasn’t working. Then the day I left it was glorious sun shine! The beers were a nice touch!

This place is perfect for large families or multiple couples, especially traveling with children as it has lots of toys and the swimming pool was always great. It’s just across the road from a leash-free dog beach so fantastic. Bring your pets too.

My family had a very enjoyable holiday at Luke's place. It's private, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable for all. We also really appreciated the generous availability of toilet paper, dishwasher powder, Glad Wrap and the like. It made for a relaxed, seamless stay. Would love to come back when it's warmer and use the pool and outdoor living areas. Can highly recommend this lovely Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay - very peaceful, great location. Easy to get into Bangalow, as well as a drive over to Byron Bay if you would like. Peter was very friendly and gave lovely recommendations. Would stay here again if we ever go to Bangalow again! :)

Lovely cabin - very clean and well organised. Enjoyed the view to the orchard and walking a short distance up the hill to see the mountains. Laura and Mal were very friendly and generous hosts.

Great place! We didn’t use the bbq and pool as it was raining but the house itself was perfect for 6 people. Walking to the town was taking us about 24 mins, however, ubers were readily available in the area. The house was in a peaceful location.

What a wonderfully private and quiet location to explore the Byron region. Sarah and Graeme are great hosts. They are friendly and welcoming, with great suggestions for restaurants in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
