Family-friendly holiday rentals in Clarks Hill Lake

Stella’s home was clean, the home was as pictured. The host was very responsive we needed extra towels and the jetted tub did not work and they came the next day to repair. The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to all restaurants and stores. I would recommend staying if you are in the area. The only issue I have is the outside could use some landscaping.

House was great. Very convenient to the Masters. Tons of room. Clean. Very well stocked kitchen and the outdoor area is AWESOME! Master is huge and the secondary bedrooms are good sized. Gym is great for a quick workout with dumbbells up to 90#. Owner was great and very responsive. Only issue I would "ding" this place on was that there were no shampoo or bath soap in the master bathroom so you had to get your own and the fish tanks were noisy until we unplugged them (with the owners permission!). Those are super minor in the grand scheme of things. I would still give this place 5 stars. I would definitely rent again.

We had an amazing time at Jeff's cabin. It was very clean and very quite. Jeff is a wonderful host and was there if we needed anything.

The house is a delightful blend of 1930’s craftsman architecture with modern conveniences. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The best aspect of this rental might be the hosts who were friendly, responsive and very thoughtful. From the thoughtful breakfast snacks to the extensive toiletries, we were made to feel very welcomed and pampered guests. This has been one of our favorite Air B&B stays.

Jessica was very welcoming to us and responsive to our messages when we needed something. The instructions provided made the check-in/out process very simple and Jessica was a lovely host to my group. The hot tub was maintained at a comfortable temperature and ready upon our arrival. Jessica’s house was clean and had plenty of room for a group much larger than my group of 4. I would surely stay here again and recommend this home to others.

Kerri’s home worked great for our son’s USC graduation. We had too sunny days, enjoying the kayaks and then three days of insane rain. The space and games kept us entertained. Thank you Kerri

Beautiful location with a great view and a comfortable porch to enjoy it on. Well stocked, comfortable bed, good water pressure, safe location. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Amazing place! The cottage is awesome and very peaceful, tucked way back in the woods. You are surrounded by farm animals, and if you'd like, each morning you can help feed and water them all! Kat is an amazing host and extremely fun and helpful. 100% will book and visit again. Highly recommend. Thank you again!

This Airbnb was perfect for a little getaway. It was very peaceful and wasn’t far from Helen, GA or different hiking spots. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a return stay at Ande's place and it was fantastic just like the previous stay. Their place is neatly tucked away from the main road and a short walk / drive from plenty of restaurants and stores. The place itself is kept very tidy and clean, quiet and perfect for spring & summer weather enjoyment. Check in is easy and Ande is a very responsive host. 10 of 10 would recommend staying here if you're in the Athens area. Thank you, Ande!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this little place on the lake, it was a great place to get away and was able to enjoy lake Murray right in the back yard! Everything was clean and looked like it did in the photos! Only thing I wish would’ve been told in the description was that there is no trash removal and the dump is 2 miles down the road, that’s fine for people who have trucks but we have a jeep and has to put the trash inside our vehicle. Yes Debbie did reach out to us later on the day we took it and said her husband would come pick it up but it was too late. But other than that everything was great! My husband and son loved being able to go fishing right off the dock and the sunsets on the porch are amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay when we came to Aiken for my daughter’s softball tournament. Very close to town and to the sports complex. Gretchen met us as soon as we pulled in with great southern hospitality. She gave us a quick tour of the cottage and answered any questions I had. The cottage has tons of charm and so cozy. We will definitely book again when we come back to Aiken.

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The grounds and surrounding area are so pretty and peaceful. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, and quick to respond both before and during our stay. Loved the hot tub too!

Our family LOVED staying at Deborah's Apartment in Anderson. Our boys had a GREAT time fishing. The community was very peaceful and everyone we met was very welcoming. The apartment was clean, adorable and had everything we needed for our stay in Anderson. The view was also AMAZING! We would definitely visit again.

Kelly’s Airbnb home was a fantastic peaceful oasis. Comfortable, clean and lovely!! A short drive to the show and Hitchcock woods. We loved staying there!!

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

Great Airbnb if you’re going to Athens, especially if you have business at the university! The place is very nice and pretty clean. I would stay here again if I were to come back to the area.
