Hawthorne is a 2-hour drive from NYC or a 2-hour Amtrak ride from Penn Station to Hudson, and then a 20 minute drive by car or taxi. Located 15 minutes from Hudson, with excellent restaurants & shopping, 2 hours from NYC by car or Amtrak. A 10-minute hike to High Falls, a 15-minute drive to Hawthorne Valley Farm, Won Dharma Meditation Center or Taconic State Park, 20 minutes to Copake Lake for swimming, waterskiing, and golf, Omi Art Park, and 30 minutes to Catamount for snowboarding and skiing.

Serene 900 square foot guest cottage located eight miles from Hudson, City center. The guest house is located near the main house and has a private entrance and partially screened-off stone patio—Sunny, bright, cheerful interior with king-size bed. The bathroom has a shower, heated floors, and a washer and dryer. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and electric tea kettle. I’m also open to home swapping in Manhattan and Provincetown, Ma.

Garden Paradise minutes from Hudson

We are just a 10 minute drive from Hudson's bustling Warren Street in the historic hamlet of Claverack. We live on the property, but our guesthouse is separate and private. It's all surrounded by our 2 1/2 acre garden, which is our passion as well as our profession. We've recently adapted a 2 year old standard poodle named Nora. She is a very shy little girl, and will win your heart. We are sorry, but we do not accept pets or children under 12.

Welcome to "The Tiny" at The Hemptons in the Hudson Valley. The not-so-tiny house is 400sf with plenty of space to stretch out. Each of the two bedroom lofts have a comfy queen bed on a low profile frame. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking (read: Not good for Thanksgiving, but perfectly suited for standard cooking endeavors). Regretfully, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to the health risk it poses it the owners.
