Spacious renovated apartment in the garden behind our 19th century Victorian house with its own entrance along the side path. Close to several parks, swimming pool/gym/tennis complex, and Queens Parade shopping strip. The neighbourhood is 4 km from the Melbourne CBD, and 100 meters from 86 tram to city and train station, and bus line along Hoddle Street. All this provides easy access to city, MCG, Rugby Stadium, Tennis Centre, Theatres and NGV. We are empty nesters with a kelpie dog, Peppy.

Studio loft, fully self-contained, with ensuite, with a netgear mesh system for full wireless coverage. Also, a washing machine and kitchenette. It is a perfect nest for one. Entry is private via the back gate. Backyard is a delightful setting for shared use. Extremely close to train, tram, and buses and the best parkland in Melbourne. Located in inner city, with pubs and cafes and cinema in easy walking distance, yet is surrounded by trees and close to the Merri path and Capital City Trail.

This is a quiet ground floor apartment. There is one excellent cafe close by, otherwise all other facilities (grocers, pubs, restaurants) are at least a 12/15 minute walk away. This is a quiet neighbourhood but if you are looking for the buzz of Collingwood and Fitzroy, then it is not too far away. In the other direction are some lovely bush walks along the River Yarra and Merri Creek.

Anton was an incredible host. When I made errors in my booking he was super polite and helped me navigate a solution. He was flexible and responsive. The place itself was perfect. A beautiful, comfortable home which was aesthetically beautiful and in a wonderful position close to parks and shops. It was peaceful and quiet and I look forward to staying again.

Katherine was a friendly and considerate host. The place was cosy and nestled in the garden. I was warned about the possibility of possums in the garden and I enjoyed hearing their noises in the night. It is a great suburb to stay in and a very comfortable room. I’d definitely book again.

We had a great stay, the air-conditioning in _ALL_ rooms was very much a winner for this time of year. We had a mix up on leaving the place , and the owners were very accommodating. The kids have it as there #1 preference for future stays!!!

This is one of the very best Airbnb’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Hugo’s place is so beautiful, comfortable and well thought out. Immaculate attention to detail and everything you could ever need. The views are spectacular- even better than the photos. Beds so comfy and spotlessly clean. Also do not go past the pizza shop just down the road for a meal it was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.
