The Barn

FionaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A warm and cosy retreat from the outside world - the Barn is a hidden gem! From check-in to check-out, everything surpassed our expectations. Communication with John was effortless and prompt, making the booking process smooth and stress-free. Check-in was a breeze, with clear instructions. The Barn was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with a cosy and charming atmosphere. The kitchen appliances & the shower were easy to use and in perfect condition and there was plenty of turf to keep the range warm. The location was ideal, surrounded by nature and just a short drive from the towns of Tubbercurry, Curry & Charlestown. A twenty minute drive brings you to the breathtaking Lough Talt and through the stunning Ox Mountains. Overall, our experience was outstanding. We can't recommend The Barn highly enough. Thank you John, for such an unforgettable stay—we can't wait to return!

Lovely, cosy cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Peaceful, well-equipped, and spotless. Tina and Rod are great hosts. The check in was smooth and we really appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to return!

Quiet Rural Cottage

DevynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
definitely a beautiful peaceful cottage, it is further from "tourist" places but it was exactly what we were looking for. a peaceful home away from home while in the country of Ireland. internet can be a bit spotty at times but we didn't mind disconnecting and enjoying some quality, phone free, time together.

Whitethorn Cottage, Palmfield

TomRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a beautiful Irish cottage that is peaceful and rural but also close to a host of towns and tourist attractions in the west of Ireland. We loved the rolling green hills outside our front door and the short drive to Charlestown. Eva was a delightful host, and we will definitely be back again next time we visit Ireland.

Lurga Cottage

MadeleineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed for 4 nights at Lurga Cottage and it was the perfect bolthole for the 4 of us. It's in a very quiet location but close to the airport and to the nearest town. Catherine has clearly put a lot of thought into the cottage; it is very comfortable and clean. The photos don't do it justice. Catherine was very helpful and had even left milk, bread and butter for us on arrival. We'll definitely be back.

Spacious country apartment

SpencerRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Ita's place is in a perfect, quiet location, the place was spotless when we arrived, and she always responded quickly whenever we had a question. The pictures don't do it justice 100%, it's far more spacious than it looks. Easy to access with vehicle, road up to the house is properly taken care of. Many beautiful sunsets we're seen on our stay as well - great views from the living room. Internet is fast. Not much else to say, our stay was perfect. Thanks again Ita!

One bedroom modern apartment

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Gail’s place exceeded my expectations. The kitchen includes a separate sitting and dining area, so it was not at all pokey. Although it is above a cafe/pizza shop with lovely cooking smells, it was quiet in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed. The one drawback is there is no number to the apartment and so you have converse by messenger and meet Gail for key handover.
