The house has been recently renovated and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and the surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Sintra Mountains, to the Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the hiking trails of the Sintra Mountains and its monuments and close to good restaurants , cafés with a good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your peace of mind. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the mountains like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise on the best restaurants in the area. Malveira da Serra, a picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking routes in the Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I recommend using your own car.

Here's a polished and friendly review you can leave for your Airbnb host: --- We had a fantastic stay at the villa! The location was perfect for us, and the property itself was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to cook and feel at home. Communication with José was smooth throughout—he was responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to others. Thanks for a great stay!

This is the absolute best setting/location. It is part of a larger private property within a VERY short walk to Castelo dos mouros from which you can easily walk to palacio Nacional. Also a quick walk down the hill to amazing food and shops. My only complaint was the hot water was not enough to fill both tubs the morning of our departure, but I enjoyed a cold plunge with a view! Thanks for the hospitality Franco!

We spent 8 nights in Lara and Denis’s beautiful apartment. In a lovely and peaceful area of Cascais we were less than a 20 minute walk from the nearest beach. We had many supermarkets and cafes on our doorstep which helped us make great use of the small but convenient kitchen in the apartment. The view of the sea from the bedroom/balcony is amazing! The bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. We wish we didn’t have to leave!! Highly recommend anyone who stays here to take a trip to the swimming spot under the bridge beside the marina in Cascais! Thank you to Lara and Denis and also Carol who was a wonderful host and helped us with any queries we had!

Lilac Cascais Villa with Swimming Pool

The place has a great location, and the house itself is very nice. We had our full family (7 adults, 3 kids), and the size of the place was just right. It does have some stairs, as it’s three levels and the bedrooms are at the 3rd floor, but if that’s not a problem then it’s hard to find anything negative! Everything is in great condition and very clean. Shops are near, as well as all sights and Cascais. We had our own rental cars but used Uber also for transportation and food. All in all, highly recommended
