Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

Great staying at Sabine’s property. I don’t usually like to travel to the same place twice, but just might need to with this one! It was just so comfortable and homey, and we had loads more yet to explore in the wider area. The property was exactly as described, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the fireplace was cozy in the evenings. We went in November, and had two days of pure sun, two more misty days, and one cloudy day. All perfect for hiking - which we did a lot of in the area. Great to hike over to Sintra way, or down to the many beaches. The town itself is quite simple, but has small grocery stores and a pharmacy. There is a restaurant Pensao Sisudo round the corner, which we got good takeout from. You’re never more than 10-20 min drive from all the other towns (incl. Sintra). Sabine also gave us loads of recommendations upon our arrival, incl. where to buy food, where to walk, restaurants, sights, etc. Highly recommend staying here!

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

Super nice location and very sweet hostess! Apartment was neat and clean and looked even better than in the photos. Upon arrival, there was bread and fresh toppings and eggs ready. Gabriela offered to check out later as we had a wedding until late the night before, super sweet!

We had a great time here, the area is quiet yet close to everything and the house is fantastic. We unfortunately ran into water access problems for a day (which the host can’t do anything about) but was fortunately well resolved by the helpful hosts

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

The apartment is located in a very quiet location in Sintra and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The private parking right in front of the entrance is very convenient. Patricia is a really sociable and helpful person and welcomed us very warmly. Really a great experience ☺️

Thank you for the nice stay in Lisbon in a very nice apartment with comfortable master bed, great view from the balcony with wonderful view. Great kitchen, exciting furniture with history. In the windowless, small bathroom, it quickly becomes very stuffy, but still well equipped for the size.

Very nice accommodation with beautiful views. Had a super nice weekend with friends! Everything within walking distance and the apartment was clean.

Our stay with Artur in the Sun and Castleview Apartment was nothing short of wonderful. Artur and his parents were welcoming, friendly, and had clear communication. The apartment was clean and easy to access many Lisboa sites and neighborhoods. You do need to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but that didn’t bother us. The view and accommodations are well worth the steps. The personal welcome from Artur’s family, wine, pastries, orange juice (for our underage child), and coffee made us feel welcome and right at home. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Paula’s charming apartment in Cascais! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen well-stocked, and we loved having a drink on the balcony in the evenings. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, the marina, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés on your doorstep. Cascais is a lovely town, and this Airbnb made it even better. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local recommendations. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax by the coast while still being close to Lisbon. We'd definitely come back!

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

Beautiful apartment, amazing view and plenty of space. We had just two of us but there would be loads of room if four people were staying. Balcony was the main draw for us, and the air con around the apartment made it even better in the heat. Filipa was super helpful when we arrived, showing us how everything worked and leaving us with tips for the neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in Sintra! Nice location, walkable, peaceful and great restaurants nearby. Easy walk to city center. Near train station. Gracious host!

Very spacious and quiet , with stunning views! You feel at home right away. There is a small cafe/bakery just next door and we found it easy to walk (if you didn't want to drive) into town along the coastline which was beautiful! The Ribeira beach is very close and you can basically check the wave status from your bedroom. It was very windy when we were there, so it was difficult to sit on the patio, but the back patio is enclosed with a small table, great place to have breakfast and look at the ocean and country side. Highly recommend!

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

A lovely home from home, very well located to surrounding towns, places of interest and beaches.

We loved this home- very convenient to Sintra and the beaches, wonderful cafe nearby, and charming comfortable home. Enjoyed the outdoor space for relaxing or dining. We would definitely stay again. Rosa was very kind and accommodating when our plans changed and we were able to book an additional night.

What a joy it is to stay here in this beautiful corner of Portugal. Pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and its surrounding property. We were in Sintra for our son’s wedding and our hosts could not have been more flexible and helpful. Your hospitality made this trip complete.

Excellent house, location, facilities and host - couldn’t be better.

A house packed with character, personality and authenticity. The outside deck is unbeatable, best seats in the house for watching the beautiful sunsets with a glass of something chilled in the hot tub! Kitchen fully equipped for cooking in, or restaurants and kiosk bar in walking distance if going out. The coastal path runs by the door, so amazing hikes along the cliffs as you step out. We’ll be back!

The facilities and living/sleeping spaces were amazing for our family of 10 adults plus a 2-year-old. 6 large comfortable bedrooms. the pool was brilliant as we could roll back the cover for sunbathing and close it for indoor swimming when it got chilly. the pádel court was a hit as was the 5 aside football pitch. The indoor games room had everything (pool, table tennis, darts, computer games etc...) so great for evening activities. The Lidl was 10 minutes drive and had most things (not so great on veggie options though). The beach was a 5 minute drive away - we didn't try cycling there as there is a steep hill. We had cars but tbh might have been better ubering as only really needed for Lidl and the beach. Elisa was fantastic - really quick to respond and sent lots of great recommendations. highly recommended

Just back from our family holiday at the villa , what a beautiful place we are a family of 6 kids aged 12,9 and 7 , the pool was fantastic the surroundings were beautiful , you definitely need a car as we visited local beaches and restaurants , we drove to beaches in the morning and back to the pool and lounging for the afternoon , I can’t fault this place at all I can’t describe how much we enjoyed it it was just perfect for our family holiday we were sad to leave the villa as it was just perfect ,thank you again and we will definitely be back , Jennifer x
