I stayed here with some friends for two nights while visiting Coles Bay to do the Mt Amos hike in Freycinet National Park and it was the perfect base. The location was peaceful and conveniently close to the national park, cafes, and the beach. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay during Autumn. The host was responsive and helpful, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. The only other thing is we ran out of gas for the BBQ grill on our final night but was too tired and late in the evening to inform the host. Something we'd definitely request in future. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the area!

Great hosts and a great location. Lovely views from the deck and spacious living area. We walked down to Governors for a delicious coffee then walked down Jetty St and along the rocks and beach path. Recommend a walk to the blowhole at high tide. Would love to stay again sometime.

If I could give 10 stars I would ..... Thank you Emily what a lovely well appointed place. Love love the King bed and the comfy lounge. Just a short stroll to the water and what a view!! We had a wonderful stay at Owen’s home. A very welcoming visit, firewood ready to go in the fireplace. Owen is very generous with his supplies in the kitchen & bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. A great choice if you are visiting Bicheno

The location was perfect, peaceful and beautiful, and just a short walk to Redbill Beach which had the best sunsets. The house itself had a great living and kitchen, though the split level living did not really suit our needs the best. The place also was a bit old with some finicky doors and locks. But other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and would gladly stay again the next time in Bicheno!

Beautiful home in fantastic location right on the beach front of Coles Bay. The house has a very fresh, relaxed atmosphere. Great spot for the family or couples to stay. The host provides great local recommendations and is very helpful. Lovely basket of treats on arrival as well which added a lovely touch! I would highly recommend staying here. :-)

Fantastic all round. A comfortable, modern house with everything we needed. The view of the pink Hazard mountains from the lounge,deck and master bedroom are stunning and totally mesmerising. Locality fantastic so able to do lots of beautiful beaches and hikes. We did a big shop in Launceston when we arrived and then topped up from the local store - easy. From the deck we saw sea eagles, cormorants, kookaburras (which visit on the deck regularly) and more. We loved it and could have easily stayed longer than our 16 nights. Very very happy.

We stayed for 3 nights with 4 adults and 4 children under 5. The home was perfect for our travelling party as it accommodate the kids as well as the adults. We loved the open living space, it allowed the kids to have room to spread out. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms very clean. We’d stay here again if we were to visit Bicheno.

The home was beautiful and well equipped. The location was right at the entrance to the nature reserve with great views of the water and the Hazards.

We had a lovely stay at Tribe Shack. Melodie’s place feels very homely, calm, and welcoming. The bed linen was beautiful and the bed in the main bedroom was really comfy. Beautiful coastal views from the kitchen/living and bedrooms. Lovely big stove to come home to after some time at the beach. We would love to come back again soon

Jill’s place was a real gem! It’s in a fantastic location within walking distance to the main street and was very well appointed. All the beds were super comfy, the bathroom was large with great shower and separate toilet, and the living room was an ideal place to hang out after long days with large smart tv and great leather recliners! The kitchen was also well stocked with all appliances (including coffee machine!) and everything you need for nights in. Jill was so helpful and lovely to deal with also, and we can’t wait to return!
