Holiday rentals with a kayak in Colleton County

We loved staying at Lauren’s place! She decorated it beautifully and even put out the Christmas decorations for our family Thanksgiving weekend. The house was so festive. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed watching the alligators and the turtles behind the house in the waterway from the balconies! The beach was gorgeous on a cold winter day and we went for long walks and several golf cart rides. We felt completely at home and Lauren was so sweet and such an incredible communicator. Thank you for everything!!!!

What an incredible stay! My husband and I loved our "home away from home" located in one of the South's most beautiful neighborhoods! Partner that with Eliza's gracious hospitality, excellent communication and numerous amenities throughout the house and community, it made for the perfect extended stay. Plus the location is centrally located for day trips to Bluffton and Hilton Head SC, as well as Savannah GA. We definitely hope to return!

Very impressed with this place! The dock and hang out spot on the water was perfect! Having the extra refrigerator and slink on the water was so convenient. The house was great with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, nice kitchen. Excellent location for anyone wanting to get out on the river. We hope to visit again!

This place was perfect for our week long getaway. It’s close enough to the beach to enjoy or to relax in a great secluded house. The screened in back porch was a blessing and we thoroughly enjoyed it during the week. Great host! Thanks for the family memories.

Lovely, cozy home with a very responsive host. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was extremely easy to navigate with Sydney’s assistance. Really appreciated the care and attention to accessibility throughout the house and property since my mother uses a walker and needed to be safe during our stay. Dock is extremely sturdy and views are beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely return the next time we visit the Charleston area since it’s so close to my cousin’s house. Had them over and it was great to have room to spread out and let her kids play while we all relaxed in the living and dining room area. Fantastic open kitchen and very nice bedrooms/bathrooms. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place. It is a beautiful, peaceful retreat and we spent every morning on the porch enjoying the views with our coffee. The location is as remote as described and you better have some great vehicle backup skills to use on the one lane causeway! :) Michelle was a great host and very responsive. We lost power one evening and she immediately answered my call to report the outage and direct me to candles for the house. Overall, we had a very relaxing wonderful girls trip! Thank you, Michelle!

This is a classic Edisto home. We enjoyed what we call The Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. The 360 views and privacy are wonderful. The amenities like bikes, kayaks/canoe and cart make for that extra fun exploring Jeremy's Inlet. We picked up our usual goodies from Kings market and had some memorable adventures shell and fossil hunting. Bird watching is an incredible downtime activity from the various porches. A great place to get away from the daily grind and revive the soul with sea, sun and sand.

Amazing host, constantly stayed in touch, gave awesome recommendations and very friendly. The house had amazing views of the sunset, the marsh and had the most enjoyable, rocking chair front porch. We’ve already booked for our 2026 family vacation! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The place is newly renovated and well appointed, while retaining elements of the historic Girl Scout camp, such as the original stone walls. My son loved collecting eggs and hanging out with the chickens. Excellent hosts - responsive and attentive. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Beautiful peaceful place in nature. The house and bedroom had huge windows looking onto the marsh with so many bird singing. Kayaking was great, exploring the marsh. Some sand gnats when there wasn’t a breeze so we had to wear bug spray at times. My husband, dogs and I loved it.

This was a girls trip with my 3 daughters. We wanted to stay on one of the rivers. My daughters are 27, 25 and 20. They absolutely loved it. We were ticked back in the lines and palm trees. It felt very private but we were at the very end of a very nice and private community. They had everything available for a great vacation…. Hot tub, fire pit, paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, golf carts, etc. we hated to leave. Joni responded within seconds to any message we sent her. They were great hosts.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and close to many wonderful places to see in the area. The bed was very comfortable...a big plus! Chris was very helpful and accomodating with our questions and needs. He was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make our stay as good as it could be.

Had a great time over the weekend that me and my girlfriend stayed. The river was beautiful and the property was very peaceful. Janie and Lucy (her dog) are really nice and even gave us some suggestions of things to see around the area. Definitely could see myself planning another trip here and recommending it to friends
