Mimis kleines Paradies (eigentlich eher riesig) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Bilder auf Airbnb sind schon toll, aber in der Realität, ist das Anwesen noch viel schöner! Die Architektur ist beeindruckend. Haus, Garten und Pool bilden eine perfekte Einheit. Überall gibt es schöne Plätze die zum verweilen einladen. Wir waren zu siebt auf Sri Lanka Tour und der krönende Abschluss, waren die 4 Nächte in Mimis Haus. Dank Kapila, Manjula und Raja konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und einfach nur entspannen! Die drei Herren sind super freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Manjula hat uns landestypisch bekocht, köstlich, authentisch und nur ein kleines bisschen scharf. Zum Glück. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

appartement très propre et bien équipé... à l'étage d'une famille vivant en dessous très gentils et discrets et présents si besoin... une climatisation unique dans la chambre qui est payante et n'est pas signalée comme telle. très proche du grand traffic de la ville et de la mer, mais suffisamment en retrait pour dormir correctement !!

It was one of the most wonderful vacation trips. We had a vacation with my husband and two children aged 11 and 16. The owner of the Dharshana house is a magnificent man. He was always in touch and answered all questions. The house is located almost on the shore of the Indian Ocean in 1 min walk. All the amenities were available. All necessary household appliances are present in the house. Especially the washing machine helped us out, as children often dirty things and they could be quickly refreshed. Dharshana and his wife were very kind and welcoming. In addition, they organized a trip for my family to the elephant nursery and the nine-arch bridge, we visited the highest waterfall and got acquainted with monkeys. The children were delighted. Our family has become friends with Dharshana and his wife and we continue to communicate. We are glad that we have friends in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back to them again.

My husband and I stayed here for a whole month. First of all we want to say that we feel very grateful to the family because they were always willing to help us in any situation. For example one time we got sick during our trip and the family was always aware of our health and attended us in the best way. They also gave us recommendations on how to move around the area and places that could be interesting to visit. On the other hand we can say that the place is very nice, clean and comfortable. We like to have experiences close to local life and being there allowed us to enjoy quiet days away from the tourist hotspots but not so far as to be able to easily go to interesting places such as different beaches, jungles, temples, among others. The breakfasts were varied and all delicious. Also many nights we decided to pay extra for dinner which we must say was everytime delicious and budget friendly. We can highly recommend it staying here and hope to return soon. Cathy & Philipp

We had an amazing stay. The views surrounding the house and the interiors of the house were absolutely stunning. Every part of the house was so thoughtfully designed and decorated. The best part of the stay was the delicious vegetarian food which we throughly enjoyed. Sam, Sandun and team were extremely hospitable, warm and helpful. We look forward to staying at the BNB again very soon :)

The place matched the exact description. the view was amazing. sleeping to the waves crashing just below the building is another level. the infinity pool and gym was beautiful. Joseph was kind and friendly. responsive host that had the house well setup for us. comfortable stay for 3.

Le logement est top. Des gardes surveillent toujours l’entrée. L’espace est sympa une chambre avec SDB, puis une suite parentale avec sa salle de bain privée, les espaces peuvent se dissocier. Balcon avec table pour manger à l’extérieur au top ! Une ligne de train sépare le logement et la plage, mais cela est assez normal au Sri Lanka, car le train longe toute une partie de l’île. L’appartement est situé à une minute de la plage, des Restaurants bordent tout le long de la plage, pas chers, et très sympa ! La plage n’est pas la plus belle de l’île , n’hésitez pas à vous éloigner un peu, et vous verrez des spots encore plus jolis. Un supermarché se trouve à 10 minutes à pied. À deux minutes en tuk tuk super Hotel avec Piscine, qui propose un buffet excellent ! Il y a une piscine sur le toit, elle n’est pas toujours très propre ! Notre hôte nous a donné un contact qui vous a servi de chauffeur une partie de notre séjour. Moins? Pas de volet il faudra vivre au rythme du soleil !

Отличное расположение, просторная квартира, бассейн на крыше с видом на море и тренажёрный зал. В квартире есть всё необходимое. Перебоев со светом не бывает — есть генератор. Отличный быстрый Wi-Fi.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

It is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is located 2 mins of walking distance from the beach. Has a nice view of the beach from the balconies. There were each balcony for bedrooms and for the living room. The roof top infinity pool is my favorite. Can see the sun set and sun rise from the pool. Since our stay was bit long 5 nights, the host provided extra drinking water and toilet paper. The host is very responsive. Had a good time with my family.

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night before our flight home, but we have very fond memories of our stay at Mahagedara! At first, we had a little trouble finding the place, but we quickly received all the necessary directions. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms (one connected to a bedroom), along with clean towels and bed linens. The view from the window was fantastic, and the balcony was very large. Additionally, there is access to a rooftop pool with a breathtaking view. We also received numerous recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-visit places. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return someday!

Situated at a prime location, it’s easy to experience Colombo at its best. Apartment is clean and staff are all very helpful.

wir haben die Ruhe, den Garten, den schönen Bungalow und die Nähe zum langen Strand sehr genossen. Janitha und ihre Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. war ein perfekter Einstieg für uns auf Sri Lanka.

The house was very neat and clean. It had necessary cooking elements also. The most beautiful thing was the sea view just exactly as the picture which you can enjoy just by sitting on the bed. The area had also lots of local veg non veg restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at rika's place.

This Airbnb was lovely and very quiet. However, the only issue was co-ordinating to get the hot water switched on. But we'd definitely stay here again! The area is very peaceful and close to the ocean. Gajanan and his mother were very kind and helpful during our stay 😊🫶

The apartment was clean, with clean linen, towels etc... Very spacious and the pictures do justice to the place. The security is super helpful. The stay also includes a weekly clean. All in all I would recommend a 100%

We had a great stay at Kantha’s apartment. Spacious and fully air conditioned with a view of the sea from the balcony with some gorgeous sunsets. The pool was very welcome and there was also a very well equipped gym. The host, Kantha, was super welcoming and super friendly and always quick to respond. He also gave us lots of tips on things to do. Highly recommended.

The place was absolutely gorgeous, seriously breathtaking. The view from our room was incredible, we spent hours just looking out. Everything was so comfortable and relaxing, we really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect getaway, we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for some beautiful scenery and a peaceful escape.
