Tiny house holiday rentals in Comal County

Lovely "studio", small kitchen, sitting area and two big comfy beds. Pool and patio definitely the highlight. Quiet and peaceful. Rose was helpful and friendly (on site) but not intrusive.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home—Catherine is truly a wonderful host. She was present, attentive, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of with genuine kindness. The property itself is a hidden gem, tucked away from the noise and busyness of the city. Surrounded by whispering trees, hummingbirds, wind chimes, and the occasional deer, squirrel, or fox, it feels like stepping into a peaceful forest retreat. Our cabin was cozy, thoughtfully stocked, and perfect for unplugging and unwinding. Each cabin has access to its own private bathroom in the nearby bathhouse, which was always spotless with clean linens. We also appreciated having the ability to do our laundry during our stay. One of my wife’s favorite parts was simply sitting outside, soaking in the stillness and beauty of nature. This place is the definition of a perfect getaway—quiet, restful, and soul-refreshing. We can’t wait to return.

This was the best little weekend trip I’ve had in years! The Airbnb was absolutely perfect. Private, spacious, gorgeous! We had so much fun hanging out in the large landscaped patio area and sitting in the hot tub. We danced, we made excellent food in the roomy kitchen with the expansive countertops. We enjoyed the nature and the privacy and we were only 3 minutes from downtown Wimberley. The hosts were responsive to our every request and we will definitely be back! Five stars!

very cute spot, will definitely be staying here again when we come to float the river! the property has beautiful scenery and some deer are out in the mornings and evenings. overall very peaceful and a great place to stay for a weekend getaway but still accessible to all your needs in the city!

Beautifully decorated, newer, serene getaway cabin. An hour after I arrived I felt all of the stress leave my body! Everything is so clean and anything you might want during your stay is provided. The front porch is expansive with rocking chairs and fans. I think I spent 1/2 or more of my time out there just enjoying the quiet and the wildlife. I didn’t use the cute little pool but it looks perfect. Bed was super comfy. Would highly recommend this rental for a single or couple’s stay. Hosts are very nice, great instructions and information, and super responsive with answers to any questions. Don’t hesitate on this one.

Was the perfect spot to get away from the big city, but close enough to city ammenities that we didnt feel lost in nature. The property was a cute retired vineyard, and we even saw deer relaxing in the old trellis.

Love it well wanted to rent out again

This is our second time to stay at Joel's Tiny House and it is the perfect location for us to stay when we attend the Whitewater Ampitheatre events. We love it here. Quiet and tucked away. Always clean and they provide everything we need for our stay. Highly recommend!

From first phone call to the final goodbye during checkout....eye to eye and smile to smile...Joyce and the entire Baird's Hideaway team, was polite, accommodating, direct, and personable. Our trip dynamics presented some variables that would be rather taxing to most hosts, but now for team Baird. We will return and we are proud to see a company in the service industry that genuinely and consistently displays the "attitude of an owner" delivered with kid-glove compassion and care.

Overall great stay. Super cute and well appointed / decorated. Great for couples on romantic getaways or smaller groups. Very close to the river which was a great surprise. There are apothecary / spa items there, but recommend bringing your own to really enjoy the tubs. There is a home immediately behind that it shares a wall with, otherwise fairly secluded and private.

Great view! Wimberly is a quaint river town and our stay captured the very essence of the area. We loved waking up to the open window view of the hills! We had such a nice stay.

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to spend our 33rd wedding anniversary and we found it. The accommodations were exactly what the host promised. We would definitely recommend The Lazy Lavender to others.

We loved our stay!! The cowboy pool was so refreshing and private. We enjoyed our morning watching the deer a few feet away and the propane grill cooked us up some juicy steaks. We loved it! And will try one their other of the listings soon with the whole family next time:)

This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! JD and Tatiana are always so welcoming and some of the best host. Perfect spot for a couples getaway with privacy but still close enough to get into town. Great kitchen where we were able to make breakfast every morning and sit and enjoy on the porch. Bed is super comfortable to get a great night of sleep. My husband and I have made the decision to have an annual trip to this house once a year because it truly is our favorite and always such an amazing experience ❤️

This was the cutest cabin in truly private and beautiful surroundings. The inside was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. There were deer in the morning, and we wish we could have stayed longer to just enjoy the porch! The play structure and loft sleeping area inside looked so fun for kids, we will be back with ours!

The home was quaint and close to the lake and attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the theme of the house was very creative. The neighborhood is quiet.

We stayed in the tiny house and we loved it. It was bigger than expected and had everything we needed. The bed and couch were very comfortable. There was no issue with WiFi. The pool was nice and the property was clean and well maintained. We walked to the river access and realized driving is much easier, especially if you are carrying floats, coolers, etc… the location is close to Gruene as well. We will definitely stay here again.
