Holiday rentals in Compass Cay

Jacqueline's property's location is quite possibly one of the best in the world. Steps from one of the most secluded, beautiful beaches we have ever been to; and we have visited many. Other reviews say glamping...I wouldn't say that. Staying at Jacqueline's is to experience being fully immersed in nature, while staying in a house. We loved every moment of it.

Kristal's home was everything we needed and more. The house is perfectly laid out and was more than roomy for our group of 6. It is well stocked, and there is a grocery store not far down the road for anything you may need. We cooked a few meals in the house but also went to the restaurants on the island. Kristal set us up with Risa, who was able to help us with golf cart and boat rentals. They picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the island and the house, and were extremely responsive anytime we had questions. There is a short path from the house that leads to a private beach. Rent a boat from Risa and take a very quick trip to Iguana beach, Pig beach, and Staniel Cay. Or stay on Black Point and see the Blowhole! The locals are so friendly and helpful. This house and the entire island are perfect if you're looking for a relaxing Bahama vacation. I can't say enough great things. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hawks nest. Delvin is a very nice and helpfull gentleman. Also beond the Air BNB. Also helps organize some island tours and so on. The Air BNB is spacious and has everything you need for a nice Island Vacation.

This was our third trip to the island, and by far, the best stay we've had! Cat was incredibly responsive and provided great insights. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The king-size bed was a treat and we loved watching the hermit crabs and lizards roam around daily. The beach was peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling, both of which were fantastic. Power outages were minimal (to be expected on the island), and while water pressure on cisterns can be a bit low, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, we had a perfect week in our favorite place and would highly recommend this property!

Amazing stay! Tropical Paradise exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a place to relax and recharge from the hectic schedules of life over the holidays and this stay was exactly what we had in mind. The house is about an hour drive from the airport/large grocery store. The liquor store was closed. When we return we would probably plan our food better and hire someone to shop/cook for us. Over Christmas many places were closed. Once you arrive you truly are in paradise. The location of this home is absolute PERFECTION! Steps away from the most beautiful, private, clear water, tranquil beach! We loved walking the beach each day, snorkeling right in front of the house and kayaking. Sherri and Alan have thought of everything and the house is well appointed. We ate at Shana’s Cove a few times and found that experience lovely and the food great! The noseeums were the only negative! They are especially bad at sunset. We all got bites despite our efforts. We can’t wait to return🏝️❤

We both cannot say enough about Carmela. We check out many Airbnb sites. This was an important trip as it was our honeymoon! From the moment we signed up, our communication with Carmela was fabulous. From the very beginning, she was helpful. She was thorough, very friendly and even supportive with our circumstances. Upon arrival, everything was as expected with great care from our hosts all the way to great information and clear instructions on what to do on the island and where to go when we were uncertain. The house itself felt like home, super clean very accommodating., and she provided everything that you would need to have an incredible stay. I’ll be honest I had my doubts coming here, but I know for certain when we come back to visit the island the only place we will be staying is with Carmela. Carmela thank you for giving us incredible forever memories! We will always remember starting off our new marriage together and celebrating our honeymoon with you in EXUMA !!

Shanricka was a most gracious and accommodating host from airport pick-up to local happenings. She gave me a tour of the cay so I could get my bearings, shared some great local fare, and was a very good conversationalist. The apartment was air conditioned, the wifi worked well, and the furnishings were comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay at her place in Black Point and hope to return to visit again.

A++++++++++++++ We could not have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful home to stay in! Totally private and quiet with AMAZING views. Everything in this home - from linens to appliances were well thought out, brand new and absolutely perfect. We had everything you could possibly need to just show up and relax. James was incredibly helpful with everything. He sent videos to show how to operate anything and everything in the house so we had Zero questions upon arrival. We loved that it was away from the busy Hotel/Resort area - but we could be at any of the big restaurants or beaches within 15 minutes. If you are headed to Great Exuma - stay here!!!
