We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be better and the home was so comfortable and welcoming. All the information was clear and James was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

This houseboat was so cute! I stayed here with my two young daughters. We enjoyed the cozy house, hiking, card games, reading, and dipping into the little waterfall. I will absolutely return!

What a pleasure. Jessica has a really special place and it was a perfect location for us. Very private and cozy, we could come and go all we wanted and didn't feel limited. The horses were a great addition and we got to know them. I would definitely stay here again and feel we made a friend.

What a gem! We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was rustic but very cozy and the surrounding area is beautiful, especially in the fall. This was the perfect getaway for a family with kids - there are lots of trails to explore and little surprises tucked away in the woods. We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at sticks and stones, would recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors in a peaceful and private location.

Jamie & Rose are the consummate hosts: clear communicators, friendly, helpful and supportive of their guests' (and their animals') experience. The cottage is New England cute on steroids, and super private. All was tip top, first rate for a country cottage experience. Thanks for making our experience so smooth and relaxing.

We always love going to this cottage. It’s our favorite. It’s actually one of our favorite places. To go a few times a year winter summer. We just spent memorial weekend there. A little doggies loved it. Home away from home so cozy. Bobby the host is wonderful. My daughter boyfriend came up and they absolutely loved it and my son came from Texas to spend one night. It was his first time there he loved it. We already planning on going back. Fantastic getaway. If you need to distress and want calmness. This is the place to come to. And the town of Mystic has great restaurants Like I said it’s our favorite place to come to and I’ve been to quite a few…. Just got home today and I’m seeing if I can book some sometime in October to go back we love it.

Sweet Spot away from home to be able to sit by the fire and catch up with some friends! This is near the highway, but it is so thoughtful and sweet and picturesque that it doesn’t impact the stay. There is a Porta potty and it is well maintained. There is running water to wash your hands although it is cold. It is fresh and also very well kept! I love to glamp so this is wonderful, but if folks are not looking to be in a camping mindset, this might not be for you. I personally would come back time and time again. I loved the options to sleep!

The cabin exceeded all our expectations! It had everything we needed to feel at home, and the farm and trail behind the house is well worth exploring.

I had a fantastic stay at the West Hill Outpost while visiting my cousin in New Hartford. The cabin was spotless, well-designed, and very cozy, with everything needed for one or two guests: a full kitchen with a fridge, a comfy Murphy bed/couch, a ceiling fan, fast WiFi, a TV, radio, strong air conditioning, a wood stove, and a private, fenced-in patio with a fire pit. Verizon cell coverage was around 2 bars for me. I spent one morning mountain biking in Nepaug State Forest and another morning walking down to West Hill Lake, a 5-minute stroll through Brodie Park. Brodie Park also features some hiking trails. The lake was stunning, with crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings. From the outpost, it was a short car ride to New Hartford, and a 15 to 25-minute drive to Avon, Litchfield, Torrington, Winsted, or Norfolk. Mike and Erin were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the peaceful, quiet location made it the perfect retreat. I'll be returning and really recommend this spot.

This is the second time I have stayed here, and both times were amazing. The place is PRISTINELY clean, it’s got everything you need without being too much, and it’s perfect for one or two guests. Anytime I’m up in WH, I plan to check this listing first- it’s my favorite!

Beautiful, private, home with a lot of charm situated above a pond with small waterfall. Not far from restaurants and grocery store. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

I feel like the pictures don’t do justice, it’s even better in person!! Surrounded around nice welcoming people , clean environment.! The stream connected to this cabin is absolutely breathtaking. (Kid friendly) definitely will be back!!

Absolutely magical stay! The cottage was beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm—exactly what we needed. My daughters were over the moon being on the farm, especially getting to see the horses and chickens up close. It was such a joy watching them explore and connect with nature. The cottage itself was tranquil and thoughtfully decorated, with every detail adding to the cozy atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights was the hidden room. My daughter couldn’t get enough of it and talked about it the entire trip! Dino was an incredibly accommodating and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed and more. Without a doubt, we’ll be back the next time we’re in the area. A truly special place.

This place was a hidden gem. I could tell that this place was put together with care. Everything was beautiful and comfortable and the amenities made our stay even better.

Frederick and Kelly have a great little rustic cabin right on the lake. Peaceful, quiet (a tiny bit of road noise occasionally, but overall very quiet). Frederick is super helpful and friendly. Cabin was built around 75 years ago (original builder's son left a note in the log book!), so don't expect anything ultramodern.. just a nice unassuming rustic family cabin.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Marie’s cottage in Westbrook, CT. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Marie put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for her guests. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. As a mom, I especially appreciated how family-friendly the space was. My almost two-year-old daughter was thrilled with the chest full of toys and books! It made our stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Although the weather didn’t cooperate for beach time, the location was perfect for exploring nearby towns like Madison, Old Saybrook, and Niantic. There were plenty of great local food options, especially if you love seafood. The neighborhood itself was quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing escape from the city. Marie was a fantastic host... responsive, kind, and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage and look forward to staying again in the future!

Great place! Raj was an excellent host. The place was clean, small, cozy & exactly as described. I especially loved the location, which was easily walkable (about .5 miles) to the beach. I walked to Grove Beach each morning, grabbing coffee at Still Delicious and donuts at Beach Donuts on my way back 😁. I would absolutely stay here again!

Came for son’s college graduation weekend so really just needed a place to crash between events. The only negative was the blinds in the two bedrooms other than MBR do not shield out the light at all so some of us woke up when the sun came up!

We had a great weekend getaway here, the host is very responsive and gives great recommendations on places to go and things to do around the area. We had so much fun and would definitely stay again!

Marina Bay cottages are lovely - very clean modern peaceful. There is a terrific game room with pool table ping pong and a hoop game and lots of board & card games and a big couch with a large screen Town is lovely and easy to get to 5 min drive or 15 minute walk and terrific restaurants and Niantic Yoga studio outstanding We will be back
