Apartment holiday rentals in Cook County

Very nice apartment. Clean and comfortable. Looks like it was recently renovated. Good view of the lake from the living room and balcony. Kitchen was supplied well. Bedding was clean and comfortable with cotton sheets. We traveled with another couple and enjoyed visiting area state parks.

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Cascade Vacation Rental Poplar River Road condos. It was the perfect amount of space for three of us and was great for relaxing with a beautiful view. We explored the lake shoreline trail, biked, hiked, and enjoyed Lutsen and Grand Marais. Highly recommend for outdoor adventure with the comforts of home.

Comfy furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and great window views of the Lake and shoreline. Loved having our own trail down to the shoreline and the rapids of the Poplar River as it emptied into Lake Superior. Very soothing to have windows open and hear the rapids below! I think everything is overpriced on the North Shore at this time of year, but by comparison this condo offered tremendous value! We will return.

Our stay here was fantastic. The unit was very clean and spacious and the furniture was very comfortable (including the bed!). We loved the big jacuzzi in the bedroom, too. The surroundings are also very beautiful and quiet, and access to the lake is just a short walk away. The hosts are very responsive too. We had some issues with the code to the door but got immediate and friendly help. Overall we could not have asked for a better stay and we genuinely would like to come back!

We came up for a weekend ski trip, and this was the perfect place to stay! Less than a 10 minute drive from the resort. Loved how the two units connected to offer some privacy for both couples on the trip. Thanks for a great stay!

What a beautiful condo with spectacular views of the lake. Quiet and secluded. It was full of charm!

Our family of 4 stayed here for a long weekend. The condo was perfect for our family, with a private room for us and a loft with two twins for our boys. It was in a great location close to numerous hikes and Grand Marais. The view to Lake Superior was very nice, and we walked down to the shoreline to watch the waves and even saw trout and salmon going upstream poplar River.

On both nights of the stay, host reached out to let us know if we stepped outside we may be able to see the northern lights. Before the stay, had several lists of recommendations and things to do in the area. Quick response time and very friendly. The condo is in a beautiful, serene location that is perfect to escape to.

This place was absolutely amazing. The view was beyond beautiful, trails were more than I expected. I would definitely stay there again.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The location was beautiful and we enjoyed the trails to the lake and the lovely setting. One day when we returned from being out all day our water was not working so we called the emergency number and they sent maintenance out right away to get it fixed. We appreciated it so much! Nice hot water and the whirlpool tub was very nice. The noise from the upstairs units could get loud, but other than that we had a great time and would return!

Looked exactly like the photos, was exactly as expected. Check-in was a breeze. I really appreciate the way they set the door codes, that was really nice and easy to remember. Lots of up front communication from Cascade Vacation Rentals. About the only down side is sight lines: if you're in a first floor unit (and I don't recall the listings saying whether you were in a first or 2nd floor) the trail behind the unit has sight lines into the unit. This wasn't ever a problem, just worth noting. Overall, would happily stay here again. Great location right across the Poplar from Lutsen resort.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing get-a-way without the kids :) This place was exactly what we were looking for. The space was welcoming and comfortable. Steps away from an outdoor pool, indoor pool, indoor hot tub, restaurant and everything at Lutsen Resort. The key fob for the pool didn't work but Joanne responded RIGHT away and was able to solve our problem within minutes. We decided last minute not to bring our fur child and she refunded us the pet fee right away. Overall, very satisfied and have talked about going back with the whole family!

Wonderful location and building. Beautiful cove below the resort with pretty sites. Renting a whole floor is the way to go with a big group of 8-10 people.

The stay and experience was cozy. The location of the room and resort provides you with a nice view, and just enough room for my partner and I to relax and unwind. The tv has all of the streaming services that you could need and want— you just have to sign in yourself. I will say that the building has a very strong smell of chlorine when you walk in, but it doesn’t seep into the room. The room was a bit muggy when we walked in due to the extreme change in weather and humidity. Shane and Nicole were very kind in trusting us to remove the a/c unit cover so that we could enjoy a/c during our stay. Given that the unit is on the first floor of the resort, you do hear footsteps above you, so if you’re a light sleeper, that may be something you want to plan for. Overall, it was a nice stay and just what we needed for our short getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better—ski/board in and out. Had everything you could need, including games, kitchen gadgets, and an amazing view right on the end where you can watch the Lutsen action. Would absolutely stay here again. Does sleep 4; however, the sofa bed is what it is—uncomfortable. Overall, this is a great option for its cute lodge check-in, friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience, and location.

Great rental! Easy to find, right on Hwy 61, but not loud. We had four ladies so we used both pull out sofas plus the bed and there was still room to hang out in the unit. Sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels are very well stocked! The building itself is wonderful. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were amazing after a day hike. The patio is gorgeous - we brought our homemade dinner out there before the bugs came out. There are stairs that lead to the shoreline if you want to dip your toes in the freezing lake. Even the game shelf in the lobby was fruitful! Hosts were very responsive but we had no issues at all with the unit or checking in. The area: we hiked Cascade River State Park to Lookout Point. A few general store and tourists spots in Tofte. Coho Cafe for breakfast - not a lot of vegan/DF options but tasty food!

The perfect place to gather for a peaceful rest! The setting is wooded & quiet — our favorite type of get-away! Also, thanks for the great communication, Christopher!

Perfect spot for a getaway! The location is great and the view is gorgeous! The kitchen had everything we would need and the condo is clean. The amenities were a big bonus and so fun.

We had a quick weekend getaway for a holiday weekend with our kids and staying here made the trip incredible! The unit was great - the beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the views of Lake Superior are unbeatable. The pool, game room, living area, and outdoor spaces were amazing and added so much to the time we had together. 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful stay. Ski in ski out location out was very convenient. Ski locker was very nice to have. Condo and designated parking spot were well appointed. Owner was very communicative and friendly. Clean and comfortable.
