What a fantastic place and a wonderful host Tim is. The property was beautiful and so well thought through. The property is really light and airy with the high ceiling and lots of windows. Bed was comfy. Kitchen well equipped. And we really enjoyed the record collection and player. We spend a few hours on an evening just sitting and chilling, listening to some records, and looking at the windows over the garden and lake. You absolutely MUST go for a swim in the lake while staying here, or even take out a kayak or the pedalo. The lake is a dark water lake as it has a lot of iron in it (as Tim told us), but the water is very very clean, and the temperature just right when we visited in early August. Beautiful to swim in. Tim was always on hand to answer any questions about the area and the history, and to give recommendations for places to see, eat, and shop etc. Hopefully one day we will be back out this way again, and this would be the first place we'd try to book.

We stayed for three nights at this beautiful, almost brandnew home and liked it a lot. Everything was crystal clean, very cozy and quiet at night and day. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to prepare nice breakfasts and dinners. The bedroom and bathroom are both very spaceous as is the living room. The host Karina was absolutely friendly and also her dad, who was our neighbor. Karina prepared a very lovely welcome package with some treats – really really kind. Thank you for having us. We would come back anytime.

Great visit close to old town and waterfront. Many beautifull heritage homes in the area as well as shops and merchantile stores, interesting gardens and parks in the area and close to beaches. House was very nice wll stocked and decorated inside, Very nice English Garden backyard surround by high fence. Had morning coffee there and saw many different species of birds. If visiting Yaemouth a perfect spot to spend a few relaxing days well within walking distance of most attractions. Very clean and all you need to cook a full meal if one want to. Would return if travelling this way on another occassion.

my family and I loved staying at Henrik's lake house. The view of the lake from 2 sides of the property were stunning. the house was very clean and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property!

Our family of six adults really enjoyed this beautiful, well-appointed house — particularly the location. This new home has incredible views and we spent considerable time enjoying the wildlife that came into the cove. The hot tub, sauna, croquet set, and kayaks were really special added bonuses of which we took advantage. The house had everything we needed in regard to linens, kitchen items, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was very private and peaceful — we didn’t see another person save some friendly waves from passing boats. We drove about 25 minutes for a dinner in Shelburne and visited Digby (2 hours away) and Mahone Bay (~1.5 hours away) while we were there, but also — because of the beautiful setting — ended up spending more time at the house than originally intended. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful, private and well-stocked with anything you need! We’ve stayed here before and would be happy to stay here again. The location is central in the area with only short drives to nearby beaches and amenities. The hosts respond very quickly and ensure our stay is comfortable and pleasant. This is an excellent Airbnb!

We had a wonderful, restful stay at Coastal Dream. The view is spectacular (sunsets are amazing) and the property is very private but not isolated or remote. Easy to get to. The cottage was quite comfortable; wifi and TV worked fine. Spiral staircase is a bit of a challenge but the loft is a nice space. Melissa was very helpful and responsive. A couple of good restaurants and food stores within a few miles. Easy drive to larger towns of Yarmouth and Digby.

We had a wonderful time at Johann’s with our two children. The house appears new and is very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, but not the clutter that you sometimes find in homes. The bed linens/towels were all new and clean. We enjoyed the lovely lake and its proximity to the house. The children slept upstairs and there is a large space outside of the room with windows that they enjoyed sitting and playing in when it rained. The wood stove kept the house so toasty. It should be noted that, like the description says, there is no Wi-Fi and limited cell service. There was, however, a very nice selection of classical cds that we enjoyed. The house is in a very private and pristine area. We loved our week!
