Beach apartment holiday rentals in Costa Rica

This condo is as pictured. Breath-taking views of the ocean. The two bedrooms are spacious, and it was a huge benefit that both bedrooms had their own private bathroom. The washer and dryer were an added bonus- and allowed us to pack light and do laundry while on the trip!! The host was excellent, providing helpful tips for the area to ensure we not only had a great time, but that we were safe. They recommended an excellent tour-guide of sorts who provided safe and dependable transportation from/to San Jose airport. They also took us on a tour to Manuel Antonio National Park. Fees were very reasonable. The pool in this facility was excellent, clean and well appointed deck with nice lounge chairs. There was a nice clean bathroom near the pool and a security guard always on duty. From a safety perspective, we really appreciated the gated facility and that there were staff/guards there 24/7. The neighborhood itself, we felt very safe walking around, never had an issue.

Great experience for our first time in Costa Rica!! Can’t wait to go back!! The pictures don’t even do the condo justice. It’s amazing and so convenient to town. Our guide in town, Chris, was unbelievable and had so many great suggestions. Pura Vida, Costa Rica!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!

The host, Eric, had everything laid out super early on checking in information. The place was easy to find, safe entry way, elevator, and keyless entry. Very responsive does matter the hour of the day. A storm issues knocked out water messaged him it was resolved in minutes. Suggested restaurants nearby for the time of day. Shared information about the area. Parking is available it is gated and secured if car rental is your option. The location is 1 and half or less from SJO (Uber. $122 est) easy to come in but have tip leaving out cause they will decline trip if you don’t have at least $20 cash due to tolls cost and distance. Location was perfect away from strip of restaurants, casinos, local shops, and excursions. I would wait to book excursions off the Avenida Pastor Díaz save deposits for ATV rental or excursions vs Viator website. Food suggestions: Local Grill, Sunrise Brunch, El Manglar all amazing foods

What a wonderful place to stay. Bernarda was so responsive and helpful. I hurt my knee I may last night and she brought over some pain relieving cream! Just a gem. The apartment was spotless with a bowl of delicious fresh fruit and champagne in the frig to help us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! Over all just a wonderful experience! The view of the water was lovely and we walked to the beach everyday! Loved our visit and our nature walks at the butterfly house and bird tour! Just amazing!! We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality

What a wonderful condo for a family. It was spacious, very clean, well equipped and an absolutely beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked and the bottle of wine waiting for us was very kind. We will miss our home away from home!

Great apt near the beach. About a 5 min drive to cocles and 10 to Puerto Viejo. Great apt for a couple and dog. Extra sofa bed and outdoor area were nice perks!

The condo a pools are as described. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach as well a very nice, new place across from the entrance. The host was very responsive, friendly, and addressed any concerns immediately. A 10-minute Uber to Coco. I will be back!

Beautiful ocean front view. Very clean and well provisioned. Gus, house manager very responsive! Playa Hermosa is quick drive from LIR (20 minutes) and much calmer over Playa Coco. Great restaurants close by.

This place was awesome! Nicer than we expected! Huge and right on the beach! We would love to return here and stay at this place again!

My girlfriend and I went this weekend to celebrate her birthday. We loved Las Catalinas, Britta's place was excellent, with ample space, a well-equipped kitchen, and the place is exactly as shown in the photographs. The concierge, Teresita, was very cordial and helpful, always attentive and responding quickly. All the people at Las Catalinas are super friendly and helpful. We went to dine at Sentido Norte restaurant, which we highly recommend! The lobby guys arranged transportation for us to and from the restaurant, and we were super satisfied. The pool club is excellent, very comfortable, the food is delicious, we loved the whole place. We're happy to come back again.

We had a wonderful time at the condo. The views from the balcony were amazing. Quick walk to town for anything you needed. The condo was super spacious!!
