Connection with nature and recovery from balance

3 km from Cunha, in an area of natural regeneration of the Atlantic Forest, is the site. I designed a house in a typical rural environment to share with visitors. It has a bedroom with double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a common bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen, with wood stove for the typical meals of the countryside. The site is 40 km from Paraty, a colonial city listed by the historical heritage. In the region it is possible to visit waterfalls and do trails in an area of environmental preservation.

Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle. I do transfers at no cost, to be agreed upon!

Juçaras refuge with the Alambari River in the backyard

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

At an elevation of 1,600 meters, at the foot of Pedra do Forno, the site is almost entirely covered by native vegetation. Overlooking Pedra do Bode, the house is surrounded by araucarias, where armadillos, monkeys, birds and deer (possibly wild boars) pass by. Centuries-old windows and doors, lots of glass, 1950s furniture. Warm bath, with gas heating. Gourmet kitchen with wood-burning stove, barbecue, electric oven, modern stove and dishwasher.
