We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The house was exactly as pictured - clean, modern, and bright. The pool and deck were beautiful and we spent many evenings just enjoying that space. The neighborhood is quiet and you are a very short drive from the town and the beach. It’s a great spot to do day trips from as well. There is also a large supermarket right nearby which was great to have. It was hard for us to leave and we definitely recommend this house!

Helio’s home is top notch—spacious, elegant, and perfectly located. The pool was a daily highlight, and every corner of the house was crafted with care. We enjoyed every minute as a family—sunny breakfasts, lazy swims, and cozy evenings. Thank you, Helio, for an unforgettable experience!

We had a lovely time at Susanne and Michael’s place. It is beautifully decorated with a pretty garden and pool - the location is excellent for seeing the town or walking in the countryside. Communication and check in were very easy.

Carlos and Isabel are exceptional hosts. Having had health problems during our stay, they were very effective and reassuring for our medical follow-up. The house is very well arranged with a lot of taste, a lot of equipment and linen. All exceptionally clean. And all this in a very beautiful environment. It's like being at home, with a vintage stereo and its own quality vinyl. It's a real Airbnb where you are greeted not by a key box but by a warm couple who know how to be discreet. As others have said the hosts were excellent. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed with a jug of homemade lemonade and fruit. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and we found it refreshingly cool in the hot Alentejo summer without the need to use the aircon. It's a short drive to Évora which is a lovely city with some excellent restaurants. All in all this was one of our best stays in an AirBnB.

Beautiful house with everything you need, Lovely private outside area. Hosts always answered any questions quickly. A car is needed to get around. Had a brilliant week relaxing here with our family.

Fantastic stay. The house is large, well-equipped, and ideal for groups or families. The pool area was clean and inviting—perfect for both lounging and entertaining. Inside, every convenience was thought of: good Wi-Fi, smart appliances, and plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and style. We spent a very nice holiday week at Casa da Serra! The tasteful and thoughtful architect's house and the great garden with adjoining goat enclosure was only surpassed by the hospitality of Luíz and Isabelle. After sunset, fireflies "lit up" our terrace. For our children, the heated pool in particular was a big plus. Since we were the only guests most of the time, we almost always had it to ourselves. The national park, which also offers hiking opportunities, begins directly behind the house. I have rarely seen so many butterflies in one place. Of the nearby destinations, we visited Coimbra, Nazaré (north beach), one of the nearby caves, and Obidos. All in all, we had a very varied and at the same time very relaxing vacation with great hosts! Muito obrigado!

Catarina’s place is secluded and peaceful and set in wonderful surroundings. The outside is picturesque, the inside is spacious, and the pool is refreshing! Catarina went the extra mile for us and we couldn’t be more grateful to her and Gina for everything they did to make the stay more wonderful! A taxi can get you to-and-from the home, but having a car is best. Bring a few board games and be sure to enjoy the outdoor shower after a swim!

We enjoyed staying at this house.The decor is beautiful—stylish but still super cozy—and you can tell a lot of thought was put into how the space is set up. The beds were comfy, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor area. Having both a barbecue and a fire pit made it perfect for spending evenings outside, grilling food, chatting, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the utensils and tools we needed, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better,just a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Comporta, and close to amazing restaurants. Guillerme was a fantastic host. He gave us super clear instructions before check-in, shared great local recommendations, and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was always quick to reply if we had any questions, which made the experience even better.

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

Rita was an exceptional host. She provided clear directions and many options regarding places to visit. Her place is both well cared for and well stocked for everything you need.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to grocery stores and a bakery; easy driving distance to downtown, beaches and Sítio. The pool was lovely and the beds very comfortable for our group. Paula was easy to reach and very responsive. Nazaré was my favorite place in all of our Portuguese adventures and cannot wait to go back.

Incredible stay in Comporta in this beautiful typical cabin. The pictures are not deceiving, the house is even more beautiful in real life, the exteriors are magnificent, the garden is very well maintained and the jasmine is exceptional!

The house met expectations. The hostess Ana is very friendly and accessible. Very quiet area with super cute animals nearby. We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

This is one of the best places we ever stayed. The view is just stunning and the little town is very beautiful. The swimming pool was the best! The house is on a great location. The inside is also beautiful and very clean.
