Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in County Kilkenny

All ages were accommodated. We had seven adults and a 10 Month old baby. Great kitchen and large dinning area that accommodated a big family dinner. Walk to River was beautiful and John was so easy work with. Highly recommend as a host

We had a lovely stay in Michael’s farm house. There was nothing I could fault with the space. Micheal was super helpful from the start, quick to reply and informative. On check in, he provided us with info on things to do in the area which was very useful. The accommodation was great, it had everything we needed and was well equipped. The house itself was lovely and homely. The decor and furnishing was also lovely. All beds had electric blankets which was such a treat. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Absolutely fantastic house and host. We were late arriving but Elizabeth left a key out for us. The milk and sweet treats were very much appreciated after a long day. The house is very easy to find. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great. Bathroom is lovely and the shower is fantastic. Our favourite part was definitely the summer house. Such a peaceful and comfy place to curl up with a book. Great location. Lots of food options nearby. The discovery park is great especially the mining museum. Very friendly little town too. We wouldn't be the most sociable people but we even attended a coffee morning in the local charity shop and had a great time.

Wonderful house within its own estate with tranquil setting and full of period character. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoyed more of the property and grounds but would highly recommend somewhere to while away time!

Lovely peaceful location, great accommodation. Kevin was helpful and responsive. Being able to walk into Kilkenny was great.

Susan was wonderful. Met us on our late arrival with fresh scones and a fire burning in the fireplace. Gave us recommendations for nearby experiences and also let us settle in quickly. Checked in with us to see if we had needs and were great at communication. We had a lovely time at their beautiful property.

Spotlessly clean Airbnb. Noeleen was very communicative both before and during our stay - she couldn't have been more helpful. The brown bread, fresh eggs, jams & butter were a lovely added touch. Beautiful, peaceful setting and a fantastic area of Ireland to explore.

Myself and some family stayed here for 1 night at short notice as we had a family funeral to attend nearby. Sinéad was amazing. She took our booking, provided the best breakfast pack i have ever had at an air b and b. She was responsive, kind and accommodating, offering us an early checkin to help with our travels So glad to have been able to stay here with my family. Th house and location is amazing. We have all agreed that we would love to return at another time when we can stay for longer and really appreciate and enjoy the house and area more. Looking forward to coming back Thank you Sinead

I really enjoyed my stay here. The host was a wonderful woman who cared to my every need and was always available for me. I travelled with my dog and Wendy was so caring and hospitable for both of us. The views were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this place and would return in the future myself.

Noreen was a lovely host. She was very responsive and was great to accommodate a late check in. Her annex is cosy, cute and clean. The bed and bedding was so soft and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and clean. We met Noreen and her daughter when checking in and they were lovely and friendly. Noreen had left bread ham and cheese for us as well and having tea a coffee which was such a lovely touch. There were leaflets with information of things to do in the area and Noreen pointed out that there was a forest walk near the annex also. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay.

Stayed here for a wedding in the Lyrath hotel which was perfect for us as it is very close by. Gorgeous cottage, very clean and had everything we needed. Marilyn was an excellent host would definitely recommend this place to anyone

Christine's warm and friendly welcome was exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling on trains, planes and difficulty with our hire car. She kept in wonderful touch with us and was such a friendly face at the end of a trying journey. Her lovely property was cosy and comfortable (we slept like babies). The choice of pillows was perfect, also the kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. We will definitely stop at Christine's in Carlow again when we fly into Dublin as it is a convenient drive from the airport and a good launch point for destinations further south or west.

Brought my partner for his birthday and it was exactly like the pictures. It was pristine. I didn’t have to communicate with the host so made check in and check out very easy. It’s probably a good thing I didn’t need to communicate with the hosts. It felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was there, the bed was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay, it was close to the shopping centre, local amenities, restaurants and pubs. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody who is looking for a relaxing stay in Kilkenny!

Helen was a fantastic host. She was extremely responsive with messages and checking in and out was super easy. The place was extremely clean, decorated perfectly and well organised with brand new appliances. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be staying with Helen and recommend this place to anyone! thanks!

Michael and Sheila were so welcoming and enthusiastic about meeting us and introducing us to their home and surroundings, more than willing to help us when needed. The space is large, clean and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Thomas town is close with two good grocery store as well as local cafes, bars and local shops. Very enjoyable stay, so glad we found this lovely place.

Shankill Castle is like staying in living medieval castle with the most gracious of hosts. I cannot thank them enough for making us feel at home. I highly recommend for an u forgettable intellectual and artistic experience. We wish we had more time there to enjoy everything they have to offer!

Marianne was proactive in offering advice prior to our arrival. She offered an easy and flexible check-in. Her home is lovely & close to all amenities on the grounds of Mount Juliet. We had a great stay!

Incredibly quiet and peaceful. As the house is away from the road you don’t hear any traffic. 10 minute drive to Kilkenny city, 5 minutes to Bennettsbridge- I recommend to visit the café and pottery in the old mill - and 5 minutes from Lyrath House. Apartment spacious and spotlessly clean. Sharon is a great host!

The cottage was really very nice, charming, well decorated and convenient, close to the axes while being quiet. Thank you so much to Colette (and her pets) for their warm welcome, don't hesitate!

Everything was brilliant as described the surrounding areas were beautiful and a quaint pub and the cafe down by the river were very hospitable

This airbnb was beyond our expectations. From the drive in seeing all the beautiful manicured lawns to the home itself nestled on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the river and pastures. Alan welcomed us with a warm smile and answers to all of our questions. He was very responsive with communication which made the visit comfortable. The walking path along the river is a must, filled with beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Airbnb was stocked with breakfast items, snacks, and drinks such as coffee, tea, orange juice and milk. Everything you could need for relaxing calm getaway with a stunning view and immaculate grounds to walk. I can't recommend this place enough, we will be back next time!

Ciara’s place was immaculate, looked just like the photos, had 2 comfortable recliners for watching television and a modern kitchen. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!

We had a great 2 nights here. The location was great for walking into town. The apartment was clean and spacious, well equipped with some little extras like chocolate bars and miniatures set out. We were very pleased. Communication was great, and we would easily recommend this property.
