Disabled Access Self Catering Cottage

Coolanowles Wheelchair Accessible Self Catering Cottage has a rural setting 12 km from Carlow town. It sleeps 5 persons and has an open plan kitchen- living-dining area with two ensuite bedrooms. The cottage is ideally situated for touring the east, midlands and south east of Ireland. Activities in the area include cycling & walking. Carlow town has many great restaurants, pubs, shops, lots of family friendly activities, arts and cultural attractions, recreational parks and designated walks.

Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Barrel Cabin at Making Tracks

Our barrel cabin is the perfect for nights of story telling and laughter. The cabin is located on our glamping site which features 4 other unique cabins. One-room cabin with 3 sets of bunkbeds, top bunks are pretty tight for space so we recommend these for kids. Guests share a well-maintained kitchen and bathrooms, fostering a communal yet private atmosphere. Ideal for all seeking a retreat with convenient transport links and a welcoming, homey environment.

Stop and relax in this peaceful oasis. Our house is located in the heart of Loch Boora Park, surrounded by nature. Tullamore is just a 20-minute drive away, providing easy access. The perfect stay for anyone who wants to relax and explore the area or work in the region. There is a friendly dog on the property – he is older and very calm. The stay includes accommodation in rooms with access to a shared bathroom. Please note that the kitchen is not available.
