All are within a 15 min drive of the house and have large supermarkets, pubs, takeaways and restaurants. Knock Airport is located 15 mins away. Westport is 1 hour, Carrick on Shannon is 45 mins, Galway is 1 hour 15 mins away. Sligo is 1 hour away. The house is an ideal base for touring the west of Ireland. Or a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the local area.

Our affectionately named Yurty Ahern yurt is a cosy Mongolian yurt which sleeps 4 people comfortably in a double and 2 single beds. A camping bed can be added for a 5th person. The yurt is heated by an electric heater and has a raised floor, insulated walls and an added cladding layer and felt roof. The roofed deck next to Yurty features a 4 person wood fired hot tub and outdoor furniture. Shared toilet, shower and kitchen facilities are available on site.
