Galiano Cabin Hideaway

Located on Galiano Island, British Columbia about a 10 minute drive from Sturdies Bay. It is perfect for family and friends. There is one double bed, one sofabed, a dining space, a wood stove for heating along with baseboard heaters, a washer and a dryer, a complete kitchen and full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is a second bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor with its own private entrance. There is parking space in front of the cabin for a maximum of two cars. With large windows, this cabin has a superb view that overlooks the lush Galiano forest and even further with ocean views to the mainland. There are two decks. One covered front deck with deck chairs and a hammock to lounge and look out over Galiano. The rear deck is nicely secluded with a hammock, small bistro table. It is a 5 minute drive from the nearest beaches, food stores, and shops, and just a 10 minute drive to Montague Harbour Marina Beach and Campsite with moped, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals. There are a number of dining opportunities, cafes, and restaurants close by. The Galiano Cabin Hideaway is unparalleled. It is ideal for friends and family seeking relaxation. There is a 2 night minimum requirement.

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

With your own detached bathroom and kitchen about 30m from the Cedar Hut, this can be your cozy, heated one room glamping experience. A private spot on our little farm. We are settled on 9.5 acres which you are Welcome to roam. Farm dogs Klaus (Bernese/Aussie) and Pinkie (Dachsi) are friendly and keep busy with roaming the property. The location is perfect for those who want to have a place to relax after exploring the local vineyards, farmers’ markets, parks, beaches and walking trails. The cottage’s style mimics that of the main house, which is about 60 feet away from the cottage. We respect your privacy, and will leave you to yourselves. We love meeting new people and are LGBTQ+ friendly!
