The General Store is also close for snacks, pantry items, alcohol and gas etc. Perfectly located for day trips to Bridgewater, Mahone Bay, Liverpool and Lunenburg.

Want to experience off-grid living in a beautiful forest setting, 10 minutes to white sandy beaches? Tanglewood Cabin is a stylish little off-grid cabin nestled in the forest on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The cabin has a small solar system for charging your devices and to power a few lights. A beautifully built out-house is located near the cabin. While there is no running water in the cabin, water is provided for cooking, drinking and washing.

Retreat to the Upper Deck above the Broad Cove Café and relax after a day of touring around or just hanging out at the local beach only minutes away by foot. The café is open 4 days a week and serves fresh ‘Out of the Oven’ baked goods from 10:00-3:30. Close to several area beaches and parks for surfing, swimming, kayaking, hiking, bird watching and more.
