Newly constructed cottage, no corners cut here. The exterior was done in a spruce wood siding, while the interior was done in a local spruce shiplap, white washed for a soft appearance. The cottage is clean, decorated with old and new so that it maintains that cozy feel. The fireplace adds a warm ambiance. You have access to hiking trails across the island, where you may come across Foxes, Caribou, Whales or Icebergs depending on the time of year. Don't forget to visit the Newfoundland ponies.

Great place to stay! Cheery, roomy, clean cottage. Don't be discouraged that it's in a trailer park...very peaceful. Nice linens and comfy bed. Host is friendly and very helpful. Quick walk to the water with benches to sit. We even saw an iceberg in the distance! Easy drive back into town. Definitely recommend.

Loved the yellow cottage and did not want to leave. Lovely, stunning views from eating area and walkable to everything, including the dinner theatre. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable and the springs were digging in to me. I solved this placing my yoga mat on it! I will bring a camping mat to place on top of sofa mattress, if I am lucky enough to visit again.

This is an extraordinary property. Eight long time friends had the greatest time in this beautifully renovated historic building. Incredible design decisions throughout the property. The salt water wood heated hot tub was the icing on the cake. After a long day of hiking to come to home to the quiet harbor and a hot tub with glorious views was glorious. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you for a wonderful memory.
