Located right in the downtown center of Faro a few meters away from the marina and on an adjacent alleyway to the main street. At the end of the boulevard there is a lovely restored palace and the old town sits just behind it. Honestly, the location couldn't get any better. It's in the middle of the city and you can open the huge windows which confers the house its luminous character; and hear the passerbys pass the vibes that Faro has or take a sunset break to hear the birds chirp on the patio.

The layout of the house was maintained but the spaces were redesigned in order to make it comfortable, practical and functional. The decoration of the space was inspired by regional tradition and sustainability. The colors used in the decoration are reminiscent of the sea and the Ria, the rocky beaches and fine sand, sunrise and sunset on hot summer days.

We met Erwin and his wife ourselves. The two were very friendly and explained everything very accurately and generously at the same time. Unfortunately, we were at a time when it rained a lot and was often cold. Very unusual, as everyone said. It was very good to have a working underfloor heating. The windows were also closed. There are many windows so it was bright. To the front, it goes out to the one big footpath of the island. You can look at the people pilgrim from the ferries to the beach and back. There is no real view of the sea. To the back it is quiet and sunny. There are other cottages all around, but they were all vacant in Feb March. A few construction work was done on the other houses, fit for the summer. The couple that belonged to the house were really nice and helpful. On site there is a woman who takes care of everything. But we didn't need it because everything worked well.

Our time at José and Lizete was very relaxing, especially with the swimmingpool during the hot weather. It are just the weekends when it can be noisy. We have deep respect for José and Lizete, that they keep their house open for guests at their age. They are very kind people. José also took us on his boat, something our two year old loved a lot. It was a time to remember.

We have enjoyed a lovely week in this pretty town house which is ideally located for restaurants , the ferries to offshore islands and the pretty streets of the old town. From the pre arrival instructions , welcome pack and helpful information brochure everything is really easy to. The house is clean , welcoming and very quiet with lovely terraces to relax & unwind . Isabel was such a delight. We had to check in very late and she stayed up to check us in nonetheless. The property was very clean, modern and had all of the amenities. The parking was right in front of the property so it was quite easy. The rooftop infinity pool was very nice. And the town nearby was so cute. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
