Dollar Apartments - Stylish one bedroom apartment

AudreyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our hosts were so helpful and considerate and the flat is superbly located for parking, local public transport, the shops and a perfect cafe literally a stones throw away for coffee, cake and even beautiful toast&jam for breakfast plus there is very good read - cafe in a Bookshop - wonderful idea! The flat has everything your need, is thoughtfully furnished and was exceptionally clean upon our arrival which makes any stay all the better! Good communication from very caring hosts so whilst we are local (needing a home away from home whilst repairs were carried out at our house) Alistair and Irene were still available for any help we may have needed - thank you both. Dollar is simply a beautiful location and good accommodation is hard to find......this spot is to be well recommended......we hope future guests enjoy their stays as much as we did.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lodge. The Lodge itself was exactly as it is pictured and exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible and we would love to come back and stay again. A truly lovely weekend break.

Timber Frame Barn in Glasgow (Grand Designs)

This was one of the coolest airbnbs I have rented in the past 10 years. It is a unique home that feels comfortably lived in and offers endlessly interesting views of the garden, fish pond, and wildlife including birds and a baby fox that trotted by each morning. The kitchen is amazing and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. We had plenty of room for two couples. Honestly, it was difficult to get motivated to leave the house to explore the city. The walking path to the Botanic Garden and West End is lovely and we enjoyed the canal path so much that we went to the beer garden/restaurant Lock 27 twice in our 4-day stay. We were able to order grocery delivery via Uber Eats and had no trouble getting quick Uber rides to the city or the railway station. We arrived at Maryhill train station and it was a bit griitty over there with many abandoned buildings and a somewhat unpleasant if short walk of about 10 minutes. Next time I would take a taxi from downtown. I hope to visit again!!

Forget Me Not Cottage

Very nice new home in the center of Culross. The instructions for check-in were not accurate, causing some frustration. I hope they update the instructions and provide a more precise address to find the home; if they corrected that, it would have earned a full five stars across the board.

I can fully recommend Steve's accommodation. The communication was extremely friendly and helpful and Steve was very accommodating. The room is very nice and in a green and quiet environment, and the city center can be reached very quickly.

Our stay at Paul’s place was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. From the very start, Paul made us feel so welcome with his warmth and kindness—it honestly felt like staying at a friend’s home. Throughout our stay, Paul was incredibly attentive. Anytime we had a question, he responded within minutes, always happy to help. When we realized we had forgotten a few essential things at home, Paul immediately stepped in and even ordered them for us on Amazon. We were genuinely touched by how much he cared and how willing he was to help in every situation. The house itself is absolutely beautiful—every room feels thoughtfully and lovingly put together. We especially loved the gorgeous garden, which felt like our own private little sanctuary. The Airbnb has its own private entrance and even though the house is close to the street and the railway station, it was remarkably peaceful throughout the day and night.

Linlithgow quiet 1 bed with kitchen and garden

We stayed for the month of May and Jenny’s place was so handy to bus stop just outside the yard and train station was a 20 minute walk. Linlithgow is a charming place and a great base for exploring Scotland. Thank you Jenny and Steve!
