Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Thurranes cottage 2

The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Relax with the whole family at our peaceful and beautiful place. The country house is secluded and family-friendly located in Hvammsfjörður, the North part of Snæfellsnes. The location offers a really quiet atmosphere and authentic touch of the Icelandic nature. You will have a view over the bay Hvammsfjörður and out towards the beautiful Breiðafjörður. During winter our house offers exceptional view of the aurora borealis and during summer, the midnight sun is beautiful over the bay.

Audnir Cabin

Audnir Cabin is a cozy cottage situated on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It has 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft. It accommodates 6 people perfectly. There is 1 bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is open into the living room area and is equipped with all basic necessities to prepare a nice meal. Outside there is a nice patio with a BBQ grill, perfect to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air. The cottage is 1 hour and 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik. HG-00001221

Mirror Cabin (Mystic Light Lodge)

Welcome to the breathtaking landscape of West Iceland. The vacation home is surrounded by untouched nature, is located directly by the sea and offers a fantastic view of the fjord. With a bit of luck, you can watch seals and sea eagles and many other birds right from the front door. This is the perfect base for exploring the area (Snæfellsnes, horse riding, whale and bird watching, etc.). You can also experience spectacular sunsets and the Northern Lights.

Guesthouse Nyp - Double room 2 floor w/shared bath

For all who prefer remote surroundings and quiet nature. Two beds in the room (double or single at your choice), full bedding, and breakfast are available. The room has great views! Cooking facilities for guests. If contacted in advance, we could make you dinner with our amazing menu that we have. A shared living room/breakfast room, shared bathroom with a shower. The former barn is a shared space as well - with a big window facing Breiðafjörður Bay.

Seljaland ferðaþjónusta Cottage 2

This is a small 16 m2 house with a 180 cm bed, access to a shared toilet and bathing facilities with other small houses. There is a microwave, kettle, glasses, dishes and cutlery in the house. There is a small restaurant in the area but it must be booked in advance. There are 28 km to the nearest store. Guests need to come to the main house to check in. There is open WiFi.

Cosy villa- West - Iceland

Attention: the location has been corrected. Skarðsá is a 140 sq.metrs house on one floor. The interior part is newly renowated. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( one new shower cabin ), tv room laundry room and spacious kitchen and living room. 40 sq.meters patio with garden furniture and grill. Skarðsá is 215 km away from Reykjavík. 3 hours drive in a beautiful landscape.

Country camper suite í Dalabyggð

The working farm Nedri-Hundadalur is located 120 km west of Reykjavik. We are in the center of Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and West fjords. We offer a camper suite, with kitchen and wc. Outside the camper is a hot tub, you can use, just let us know if you want. The sleeping space is for 4 slit to two grown ups and two children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful.
