Our family of four absolutely loved our week! This was our third time visiting PEI - our first time with our two girls, ages 5 and 1. Pauline’s place was the perfect size and everything we needed was provided to us. We have always stayed in this area and the view was outstanding here. A much needed and enjoyed vacation in a beautiful place!

The historic milk house at French River is a very special place. We think it is even more beautiful there than the photos can capture. From the moment we pulled up until the moment we drove away, we felt very lucky. The unit itself is restful, comfortable and well equipped. The location is just breathtaking - amazing views, several ways to access a quiet sandy beach, the lighthouse, rustling grasses and fields, birds, bees... thank you so much for our stay! We wish we were still there in PEI. :-)

We loved our stay at the Darley by the BasInn! It was very comfortable, relaxing with a great view on the bay. The cottage it very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and they also have board games for all ages. Pat and Al were very responsive and welcoming. We definitely recommend!

The Salty Hook minutes to Thunder Cove Beach

We’ve spent time in beautiful PEI before, in various locations, but this one really stands out. The cottage was very well presented, beautifully decorated, with everything there you could need. The covered porch, especially in the evening, was just perfect. The patio lights really adds a nice touch and it was a great spot to enjoy a book or a meal with the family. The cottage is close to the nicest beach in PEI in my opinion, we could easily walk. We just loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend to others. What we didn’t know until we arrived is that the place is practically brand new and it really showed. If we get back to that part of the island in future we’d certainly stay there again.

Sweet Cheeks is a wonderful cottage and provided us a lovely home away from home. So bright and open it allowed for two adults and two teen boys to enjoy their stay without bumping into each other constantly. It’s so wonderfully located a short walk to Thunder Cove, allowing for many beach visits. Joe was a great host and was quick to answer any questions we had. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely Ocean View - near Thunder Cove, Darnley

The Wild Flower cottage was peaceful with a great view of Darnley Basin. It was well equipped with nearly everything you’d need (I think I was only missing a measuring cup all week!) The rooms were outfitted with comfy beds/bedding and complete with fans to keep you comfy. Although, the breeze is great and we were never too warm during an August stay. I loved having laundry on site with a young family - machines were new and worked great. We made use of the bbq and fire pit. The cottage also offered all of the basics you’d need like paper towel, Kleenex, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee filters. I love the beaches of the north shore and we had convenient access to many with just a short drive. We also had the pleasure of watching a meteor shower with the dark sky! Lisa was easy to reach and communicated to us about anything we’d need to know. I’d definitely return, it suited our family of 4 well.

Darnley Dream Getaway

wounderful week at Darnley. We have stayed at several similar size properties in the area and this is our favorite. Lots of amenities and we wanted for nothing. AC on both levels was appreciated!!Tons of linens and towels. Full kitchen amenities. such a peaceful quiet location yet so close to Twin Shores or Thunder Cove beach. Kids could ride bikes to twin shores for ice cream and playground. 100% recommend.
