Em and I had such a beautiful time staying at the peaceful, luxurious, and stunning Oikos at Breakneck Gorge. The layout was superb for a complete escape from the everyday with views we struggled to pry ourselves away from when it came time to explore the lovely Hepburn/Daylesford area. Arthur was lovely and incredibly informative and the space itself was fitted with just about every creature comfort we could possibly have wished for.

Staying at Rachel’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and filled with thoughtful touches that showed how much care Rachel puts into hosting. Every detail was perfect – from the soft linens and well-stocked kitchen to the welcoming note and local recommendations. Rachel was incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. You can tell she truly cares about her guests' experience. It was my second time staying at the Eco Village, and my second cottage. My partner and I have loved our stays here so so much, it really is the perfect getaway. Kali is so helpful when it comes to starting/maintaining the fire and we felt the instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you again! we will be back!

Hans and Christina’s tiny home in Daylesford is an absolute dream—beautifully designed, incredibly cozy, and set in the most peaceful location surrounded by nature. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the stylish interior to the ultra-comfy bed, making it the perfect spot to unwind. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the deck and relaxing under the stars in the evening. The home feels private yet is just a short drive from the heart of town. Hans and Christina were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and full of great local tips. A 10/10 stay—we can’t wait to come back!

We had the pleasure of staying here for my partner’s birthday. The place was clean and beautifully presented. We especially loved the steam shower and the indoor jacuzzi. The hot tub water threw us off a little at first, but after the host explained it, it made sense. I feel the bed could be improved—I didn’t find the pillow and blanket as comfortable as I would’ve liked. On our first night, there was a blackout while we were showering, but thankfully the emergency line was helpful and the power came back quickly. We also really enjoyed the fireplace and had fun starting it ourselves, including the one outside. Note: there are no towel racks, so we moved the one from the room closer to the bathroom for convenience. Although the kitchen is quite small, we still managed to cook a simple steak and mash dinner. We also loved the toilet—it kept us warm, and we appreciated the air freshener spray, which most Airbnbs don’t have. All the little thoughtful touches didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you

Wow, rarely are we lost for words but not even the gorgeous photos could prepare us for what this would truly be like. As soon as you step into the longhouse you just feel different, the air smells beautiful and the nature sounds are so peaceful. Everything is so well designed and thought of. It feels like a hidden oasis and perfect place to relax. Most of our communication this trip was with Trace who greeted us and showed us around the property. The hosts are extremely helpful and have a lot of pride in their house and what they do. We’d recommend checking the website and booking one of their classes during your stay. I’m running out of space here to write but we absolutely couldn’t fault our stay here which was for our honeymoon. The outdoor bath and sauna are a highlight as well as the luxurious linens and views as you wake up in the morning. I’d recommend bringing some produce up with you and making use of the amazing kitchen equipped with everything you need.

Felt like being in an oasis whilst only an hour or so out of Melbourne. Susan’s place was a sanctuary the perfect winter escape! The bed was so comfortable, we had a nightly fire, there were birds and kangaroos on the doorstep and the bath was deep and perfect for relaxing. Everything was so well thought out, we had the best stay!
