Ruinerwold, 18th century farm

Onze monumentale boerderij ligt tussen Meppel en Ruinerwold. Het originele voorhuis biedt ruimte voor max. 10 volwassenen of 6 volwassenen en 7 kinderen. Sinds de bouw in 1756 is dit voorhuis ongewijzigd gebleven en de oudste gebinten stammen uit de 12e eeuw. De boerderij, één van de mooiste van Drenthe, is al meer dan 60 jaar een Rijksmonument en niet toegankelijk voor publiek maar staat gelukkig in meerdere boeken beschreven
