Cottage holiday rentals in Deep River

We had a fantastic weekend getaway, and loved that we could bring the pups with us! The hot tub and pizza oven were amazing, and the outdoor set up was beyond what we anticipated- games and multiple seating areas! We will definitely be going back!

Our stay at the cottage was beautiful we weren't ready to come back we loved it so much... it was a ladies 3 night stay away, we will defiantly be back.... The view was gorgeous and the hot tub is amazing... Elaine was very responsive to my messages... nothing bad to say at all... everyone should try this place out.... very peaceful but still have small shops around and restaurants... thank you Elaine you were super as a host...

The cottage was great! Perfect for a weekend out of the city, our group and I loved the entire experience. Janice was very helpful and even left a very sweet personal touch for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect "home away from home" for the holidays! We stayed at Brad's for a few days over Christmas to be closer to family. The check-in/out process was simple. The communication and response time with Brad was great. This modern and very clean cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen was impressive and well stocked with appliances/dishes. It was perfect for cooking Christmas dinner! We were most appreciative that our furr babies were welcome too. If you are looking for a tranquil, cozy spot with beautiful surroundings then this place ticks off the boxes.

Great cottage for larger groups! Enjoyed the variety of games provided on site. Huge yard for lots of space to play, Dock is secure and has some built in seating. Offers great views while standing around the fire. Walk to fire pit was further away from house then we liked (our only complaint). Bathrooms on each floor was a bonus. Beds on top floor are bigger then the pictures for the bedroom without the balcony. If you have larger group bring lots of bottled water. Signs for a Marina just before getting to the cottage offer ice, wood $10/bag, kindling, snacks, etc.

We had a great time staying at this cute beach house! The views are so beautiful. Melanie was a fantastic host. She went above and beyond and made our stay much more memorable. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

This cottage is a small slice of paradise! The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, and the property is beautiful and easy to explore. We came with our 8-month old, and it was so nice to have children's books, different toys, and the play structure outside. We enjoyed a hike around the small lake, and we are hoping to return in the summer to get in the water.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

We had a great stay at Kate’s place. It’s a very rustic house on Friaser Lake. Amazing views of the lake from the dining and living windows. Nice sized patio and deck out onto the lake. Beds were comfortable. Having a dishwasher is a plus on vacation. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it if you want an awesome lakeside experience. Fire pit by the water is magical at night. They were great communicators and the price was great. Thanks again!

I will highly recommend this place. The house was absolutely amazing, infact better than the listed photos. It was very clean and had all the things you would need. Jim had taken care of every small detail, and went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant stay - from giving us additional utilities to accommodating our request for a late checkout. He was also very responsive and courteous. We had a lovely time here and would definitely be coming back again. Special mention for the neighbors, who were very nice and friendly. Our kids ended up spending more time playing in the neighbor's backyard :) Thank you Jim for hosting us!

My friends and I had a great stay here in May. Very charming cottage with lots to do- we had fun canoeing and playing badminton. The host was easy to contact and the place was clean and had everything we needed.

We had the best weekend! The house is perfect. Fully equipped with everything you could need and decorated so lovely- I can’t think of anything I’d want different. The location is idyllic- peaceful, beautiful, yet very convenient to get to lovely local trails. Peter was incredibly friendly and quick to respond. I hope we get an opportunity to return as we would 100% recommend it!

Our recent trip to an Airbnb in Algonquin Park was unforgettable. The stunning natural surroundings and the comfortable, well-appointed cottage made for a fantastic experience. The setting was exceptional—right on the lake, with convenient access to kayaking, swimming, and hiking. We cherished quiet mornings sipping coffee on the dock. The cottage was both cozy and spotless, blending rustic charm with modern amenities to create a true cabin-in-the-woods atmosphere while still offering all the comforts of home. While nearly everything was perfect, there are a couple of minor improvements that could further enhance the experience: Having a greater supply of dishwasher-safe dishes, cups, and mugs would be appreciated. We found ourselves needing to handwash some glasses and cups, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Algonquin Park.

We’re 2 Gen-x’s wanting to see moose in Algonquin but didn’t want to camp, so looked online and found this awesome retro place that was LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly with no kids. We loved it. Reminded me of my grandparents house, the 60’s/70’s/80’s vibes were perfect for us. Nice private deck. Kitchen well appointed, and had a bbq. Just a 30 min drive along hiway 60 we saw 2 moose! It was awesome. (Try dawn or dusk). As for sleeping, we were in MewTwo cabin, and if you are a little creaky with back and joint issues like us, haha- you might want to bring a mattress topper. Bongo and Andrea were great hosts, very kind and responsive. On Sat night we went to their tavern for a drink and live music, which was fantastic. The tavern was decorated in the same retro Canadiana vibe, the TV was playing Bob Ross, and they rocked the house with cover songs by country, rock and pop artists. They even sang in German for a table of tourists. A great time was had by all. Highly recommended.

Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. Beautiful location. Easy river access for fishing, canoeing, and other water activities. Well suited for families with a game room and lots of books for kids. Our family loved the wildlife sightings (blue jays, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and fish every day).

It’s a beautiful place with a great view of the water. We had a great time paddling the clear lake. Jennifer was very kind and responsive and I’d recommend this place. I’d love to stay again!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The view of the water is absolutely stunning, and having such easy access made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. The place was peaceful, clean, and just as described. The only small thing we missed was a washer and dryer—especially after spending time on the water, it would’ve been helpful to dry our clothes. Still, overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a scenic getaway!

This was a great location and cottage. There was nothing major to comment on. It would have been nice if there were trails within walking distance but there's lots to do at the cottage itself (canoes, kayaks, pool table, lots of lawn space). There was a good, comfortable amount of space for all of our guests to have their own room. Ping was very responsive when messaged with any questions.

Our family had a wonderful time at Amy and Kevin’s place. The beach is great for children and the place was very spacious and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this cottage. Thanks again Amy and Kevin!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Laura’s place to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The home was lovely—immaculately clean, just like the photos, and it exceeded all our expectations. You can really tell it's well cared for. One of the highlights for us was the sauna and hot tub, both in excellent condition. We especially loved doing the Finnish tradition of running to the lake for a cold plunge, then back into the sauna—it was such a fun and rejuvenating experience we’ll always remember. Laura was extremely responsive and kind, and communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. She made everything feel effortless. To anyone considering this place: don’t hesitate to book! It was the perfect spot for a beautiful weekend getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate a special milestone.
