Cottage holiday rentals in Deer Creek

The cottage was so cute, the back porch was so cozy and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and everything was clean. The walk to the beach was so pleasant and super close, the hot tub was private and clean. We had a romantic weekend for two but this would be perfect for a young family, for some very relaxing beach time. The host was so gracious and responsive and the location so convenient from DC.

We had a wonderful stay! It was cute cottage on a farm and was clean and spacious. It was easy to get around to local restaurants and markets.

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

A very nice place in a private setting. Had all the essentials. The pool and hot tub were especially nice. Loved the wine at the winery also🍷 Andrea was helpful and responsive with all questions. Highly recommend staying!

It's a nice cozy place. Beautiful dining area. Outdoors has a hot tub and a fire pit where we could spend sometime. It's about 25 mins from Dutchwonderland so was convenient enough. Overall of you are looking for a cozy private place in the outskirts surrounded by farmland this is a great place.

Another great stay. The house is beautifully decorated, the hot tub is clean and clear, and the location is peaceful. We spent a lot of time at the Winchester Historic Walking Mall, and discovered the Shenandoah Valley Children’s museum where my 20 month old had a blast.

Great little cabin in a location with several shops and things to do within walking distance! My husband and I felt very comfortable here with our two dogs. We were in town briefly for a party so the place was just a home away from home and it was great. Extras like snacks and cold water let you know these hosts care about welcoming travelers; I wouldn't hesitate to book with them in the future!

We had a great stay at Michelle and Dan’s property! The cottage is absolutely stunning and the surroundings are breathtaking. From the cottage there is a beautiful view on a well-kept backyard that we would wake up to. We often went to the backyard and the pond that’s on the property to enjoy the nature and relax. All the rooms are very spacious, spotless, and serene. We spent most of our time in and around the cottage but there is plenty of things to do in the area and both Michelle and Dan were very helpful in providing some ideas. They were also super responsive and very friendly. Thank you for having us and I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Little touches (like the delicious homemade cookies) made it a lovely stay.

We had a nice time, the place was cozy enough that even when we had bad weather we were happy to stay in and relax!

This was our second time at this property, and it will be our first choice any time we visit the area. It is so peaceful, great location to feel off the grid, but easily and quickly get to Harrisburg, Carlisle, and surrounding areas.

Wish I could’ve stayed longer in the historic stone cottage! Lots of privacy, very well appointed furnishings and great for bird watching. Highly recommended and hope to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here! Matt and Kelly were communicative through our visit, instructions for check in/out were easy to follow, and the house was so cozy and secluded -- exactly what we hoped for! We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!

Went out of their way to list places around town to visit and dine at. Adorable and very clean space that felt like home the moment you walked through the door. We love this place! It is such a wonderful retreat from normal life. Our kids love the creek and the pond. My husband and I love to sit on the upper deck in the morning to have our coffee, while we can watch our younger kids down below playing in the creek. Our older son appreciates the TV. And we all love the great selection of games and books in the house. What a perfect place to introduce my 6 year old to "the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe"! I also love how anything we happened to forget can be usually be found somewhere here. Mike is very responsive. This place is becoming our annual destination!

Super cozy cottage with thoughtful details like handwritten notes, snacks, chocolates, and firewood. Perfect vibe for a little Bucks Co. getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

Lynne's cottage is absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. It was so comfortable and all of the art work and little touches were delightful. I had a couple of questions and she responded right away. The humming birds we so fun to watch when they came to the porch feeder. We didn't get to use the fire pit because of rain, but everything is provided. We would love to stay again in the future!

An absolutely great stay- the cottage was central to everything we wanted to do (Fonthill castle, Mercer Museum, Pearl buck house, peddlers village, vampa etc!) the property was beautiful and the resident goats were adorable. Will definitely be back !

I am in the hospitality industry and they are going to have to step up their game with hosts out there like Maria. The attention to detail and little touches gave it a unique and homey feel and Maria anticipated your every need. I mean I am beyond impressed. I’m always overpacking and stressed Im prepared for any situation that may arise with Maria all the comforts of home are taken care of and her suggestions in the area free you from google searches to get around unfamiliar territory. It’s refreshing to have someone care and go the extra mile and makes it worth every penny. Highly recommended and would book again 100 percent.

The cottage is perfect. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The sauna overlooking the lake was amazing. The easy access to the kayaks was great and paddling on the lake was so peaceful. Five stars for a PERFECT weekend at a perfect cottage.

What a charming and unique place to stay! We adored the animals, including the cats, and loved watching the horses all day. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, scenic, and incredibly peaceful. The house was very homey and included everything you could possibly need. Internet was fast and the A/C was nice and cold in the summer heat. We did wish we could have made more use of the porch area—totally understand it’s the animals’ home first and foremost but chicken droppings were all over the porch furniture and seating and we couldn’t sit there. Overall a great stay!

We had a great stay at Zeb’s place. It’s close to Shepherdstown and Antietam. Beautiful, modern design with well equipped kitchen. Zeb was very responsive and helpful.
