Come and stay in the bedroom of Federico Henriquez y Carvajal, a famous Dominican academic, poet and scientist brother of one of the first presidents. In the heart of the Colonial Zone, this room is located in a historic house. The room remains largely unchanged, with the original beautiful mosaic floors, high ceilings and a tented four-poster bed. The bathroom is gigantic with a lovely tub, walk-in shower and two sinks.

A spacious seating area is furnished with red chairs and sofas, adorned with Union Jack patterns. A coffee table is centered among the seating, and a large mural depicting a London street scene adorns one wall. Soft natural light filters through the window.

It's like an apartment within the hotel, and is very private. The large balcony which runs along the front of the building is perfect for people-watching in the street below. The bedroom has either a king-size bed, or two single beds. The bathroom is off the bedroom, the shower is reasonably large, and has high-pressure hot water.

The executive suite features a spacious layout, highlighted by a large bed with crisp linens. A cozy seating area includes a patterned couch. Natural light floods the room through a window adorned with elegant curtains, while a large screen HDTV is mounted on the wall.
