I had a great time at Shivam's Airbnb, the view from this room is wonderful, the hosts are warm and responsive, the place is away from the crowds (even if it's a bit of a hike); there are also amazing trails within 3min walk from the house. The room itself is very cozy with plenty of blankets, sitting area, a kettle; the bathroom was a bit basic and could use more insolation and some toilet paper.

The house is situated at foothills of Sangreshi mountain and the view is so pleasing to eyes especially garnished with the sweet sounds of birds in early morning. As mentioned in listing it is 25 Kms from Airport and takes an hour to reach as the traffic woes are everywhere. Kousar Aunty’s homemade and simple food was amazing and we loved it all. Our return flight was at 7:50 AM in morning and we had to leave by 5:15 AM and Kousar Aunty gave some some packed Sandwiches which we enjoyed at Airport. Really appreciated her waking up so early for us. Mr. Bashir arranged our Cab and I must say the Cab guy was perfect and least annoying and never cribbed for any extended time spent by us in market or else where. One suggestion is if an Electric kettle is placed in the rooms it would be nice and gives some freedom to make tea coffee at any point of time.

With the most beautiful sunset in the area to beautiful forest trails around to a very helpful staff, Ashish's place is a perfect for anyone who wishes to stay away from noise and crowd.

The most comfortable and comforting home. It's not just a homestay but it feels right at home. I am unfortunately not feeling well and Vikas and his family has been cooking for me, checking in on me. The genuine kindness and care is very special to receive, when you are on the road travelling and feeling unwell. There's everything you need, everything is clean. The decor with plenty of indoor plants, creates such a soft nourishing environment. The layout of the house have pockets of sitting areas with a nice sense of privacy between each room. The shared kitchen is well equipped and there is a small convenience store selling vegetable, just a stone thrown away from the house. Being surrounded by nature is the pure beauty of this place. There's peace and tranquility from the first step of my arrival. I have already booked my return stay and looking forward to enjoying the space again. Gratitude for Vikas and his family's kindness.

Rooms were sparkling clean and the mountain view from the bed is one of the best in manali leh highway. Shubhra was one gem of the host , always running around to keep the guest engaged. The food were prepared with lot of love and tasty. There is a couple of villages to explore nearby with picturesque location or settle down in the cozy common room to chill out. Place is right on the highway and there is an essential shop just a couple of blocks away but still the rooms are tucked away nicely with just towering mountain and stary night sky to worry about. Shubhra's place would offer the perfect pitstop to your leh roadtrip just couple of km before you enter the cluttered jispa town.

Ria is great host, they are a lovely family. We had to extend our stay last minute and Ria was kind enough to allow her space. If you prefer to be midst the nature away from the chaos this place is definitely worth. Her sourdough breads, jams , muesli and much more is definitely worth trying. Please have food prepared by her its health. Everything is fresh. Ria's apouse Hari Das ji is a wonderful person. He is a trek guide and it was great experience to have him along to explore few places. Ria and her family are disciplined and they close their day early, so ensure to be mindful of this. in case you step out late evening/return late night ensure to get your water jug filled or any other support required before you leave so that there is no need of bothering them at late hours. I had one of the best Airbnb experiences there at Susheel's place. They are an amazing family , they greet you very well and serve wholeheartedly. They provided us local cow milk for our trip towards Leh which we enjoyed for making tea at BaraLa Cha pass. The place is around 8 Km from Sissu towards Keylong> Leh so you must stay here if you are planning your first stop at this place, Leh will be just 1 day ahead or 2 if you plan to take another stop at Sarchu or Pang. No words are enough to describe their place in cleanliness, comfort or the glacier view from the window of their rooms. You will enjoy local Lahaul dinner/breakfast or Siddu with local homemade ghee, butter and churpi if you know what it is. Enough parking space for your cars and bikes. So, get excited about this place and do visit soon.
