Holiday rentals in Dominica

Wendy gave us great advise on what to see in Dominica, responses were always quick and she was so kind to offer flexibility when we had to depart a day early :) For all future guests - please note there is technically beach access from the porch but it’s not good for swimming, yet the most beautiful beach we saw in Dominica -Batibou beach- is just a 15 min car drive away ☺️ the house was clean and spacious- 4 of us had no trouble finding space to relax ☺️ most of the windows had mosquito nets which I find very useful!!

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing. Close to the nicest beaches on the island and several waterfalls/rivers. Amber has done a great job putting together a guidebook to ensure you locate the places you want to visit. The location feels secluded and at night you hear the waves crashing. There's also a mini mart at the corner (5 min walk) and plenty of restaurants in the area. Don't forget to try the local fruit stands too. Amber is also proactive host and always responded within minutes. If you plan on visiting places in the Northern part of the island this is an ideal stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to Dominica.

They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

Outstanding. From instructions and welcome provisions to a large immaculate 2 bed apartment with two sided balcony and great views. The large gardens create a tranquil space. Thoroughly recommended.

What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

We loved our stay at Monlights! It's the perfect place to stay in Dominica. The location is up in the mountains surrounded by trees, flowers, and birds with amazing views of the ocean and rainforest and its only a quick drive from the town of Portsmouth, that has lots of restaurants. We enjoyed taking easy day trips from the house to explore the island and the pool was a great amenity to use after a long day of exploring. The AC in the bedrooms worked really well and the smart TV with Netflix was perfect for movie nights. If we find ourselves back in Dominica, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

From the start, Sheila was always very communicative giving suggestions on where to go and what to do. i would suggest renting their 4x4 SUV, we had some issues with a rental company at the airport that Sheila & Helm had to help us out with. Once we got there, the pictures do not do this property justice, absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. Their dog was the highlight of the vacation tbh 😂. we will be back and we will never stay anywhere else.

Johnathan and Gilly were exceptional hosts; super friendly and welcoming. Gilly greeted us with a handwritten welcome card and was flexible with check-in/check-out. The house itself is stunningly clean, well-kept, and the kitchen is fully functional and equipped with everything you could possibly need— I especially appreciated the standing mixer! The fridge was generously stocked to help us settle in, including a bottle of wine, local snacks and dry goods. Each bedroom had fresh flowers, linens clean and fresh with TONS of closet and storage space. The bathrooms came with lovely local toiletries. Pool is well-maintained and perfect for evening swims. I appreciated the washer/dryer with laundry pods and the first aid kit which shows the kind of care the hosts put into every detail. The area is super peaceful even with neighbors nearby, very tranquil and private. I’m sad the stay was so short, but I’ll absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Dominica. I will be back.
