Apartment holiday rentals in Dongdaemun District

We had a great stay at Jaehee's flat. We were pleasantly surprised by the neighbourhood which had everything we needed - easy access to public transport, a grocery store, and a few bars and restaurants. The flat itself is comfortable and well furnished. We particularly liked the eccentric style and decor of the apartment. Very cool. Jaehee was easy to communicate with and responsive. Would highly recommend!

spacious and tidy apartment, clean bathroom with open shower without curtain. The neighborhood is quiet, a 10-minute walk from any metro/bus connection and offers nothing in the immediate vicinity. Personally, if I had to go back, I would choose a livelier neighborhood, such as Hongdae or Insa-dong, but if you prefer tranquility and silence, it is an excellent choice.

I felt very comfortable during my stay. The apartment was as advertised, very modern and included so many thoughtful details for a tired traveler. The heating and cooling systems were good, took a bit of getting used to but I guess I just am not used to a high tech setup. After doing 25k steps a day, relaxing in the massage chair with a city and Mountain View was wonderful. They were very informative and responsive via chat with any questions and issues. There’s a super cute upstairs coffee and whiskey bar in an apartment across the street, local market near by and lots of late night eats like soups, fried chicken etc . An Izakaya downstairs. Easy subway access.

The room is clean and well furnished, quite easy to find. The host was also always quick to respond to my questions in advance and was staying.

I love the location! Daiso, McDonald's, Olive Young, and pharmacy convenience stores are all nearby. I was sensitive to bedding, but it was very comfortable. The bed and table were so comfortable and nice! The accommodation was more spacious than the photos, so I rested comfortably before heading out.

Had a great stay here. Easy to find and well connected to basically anywhere in Seoul. Perfect for one person. Super cozy flat, comfortable bed and everything you need right around the corner. I’d definitely stay here again!

The room is very clean, so the landlord will also reply to messages quickly. It's a little far from the subway station, but overall comfortable. We will check in again when we get a chance in the future!

The appartement has a great location near Seoul Station. It's perfect to go anywhere in the city. Also the appartement itself was great. Everything you need was provided. We felt like home immediately.

We were visting Seoul for the first time, and booked this apartment based on the reviews. It was an excellent choice! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially liked how close to the subway, restaurants and convenience stores it is, and enjoyed the beautiful rooftop deck. My husband and son used the gym a few mornings and were very satisfied. The loft room area has a low ceiling, as described, but my teenage son didn't mind, and enjoyed having his own space. The host was excellent at communicating, and even tried helping us buy tickets to a local event when asked. She also allowed us to store our luggage after check-out when we visited another area, which was a lifesaver. There are several hotels on the same block, and for the space and amenities, I think this apartment is an excellent deal. I would stay here again!

Place was really cozy and accessible! As this place is situated in Dongmyo, it is easy to get around to many places within 30mins, with Dongdaemun in walking distance :) The accommodation provided everything I needed as well, along with clear instructions from the host on how to separate trash since I am not familar with it.

Great location. It is within walking distance of Myongdong, Namdaemoon, and Gangwhamoon Square. There are many restaurants and easy access to the bus and the train station. The unit is exactly as shown on the listing and the perfect size for a single person or a couple.

Smaller than expected, but it was a good place. Host is very responsive, helped resolve my issues when I literally texted past midnight.

As someone who was staying long term, this place was amazing. The hosts were always responsive and friendly, as were the cleaners. The cleaning service was great and the description of this place was very accurate. Only one side if there is one, it would have to be the walk from the station but even then it wasn't bad at all. Other than that, I would book here again!

Wonderful and clean apartment for three people! Very close to the Guro Digital Complex metro station with lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby too. Right opposite is a cycling path which connects to the wider cycling network of Seoul -- rent a bike with an app and you're good to go! Moonhyung was patient with our queries and was very clear in his instructions, which we appreciated a lot. His friendliness was appreciated too! A small detail in case you want to exercise -- a shared gym is listed in the amenities, but you have to pay to use it. Also, the TV is not a smart TV if you need that! Other than that, it was a comfortable and quiet stay :)

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. The location of the accommodation is very convenient, there is a convenience store downstairs, Olive Young, a pharmacy, and the airport is on the subway, you can take the subway directly. The owner James gave me an early check-in after knowing that I arrived in Korea on a red-eye flight, and replied quickly. The room is large and well-equipped. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying here, the condo was beautiful ,the location is convenient near the train station, would recommend this place.

This was a great place for our family to stay during our trip here in Seoul. The location was great - we were able to visit the Han river park frequently as it is literally steps away from Alex and Susan’s place. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and helped us find everything we needed! Highly recommend and we would love to stay here again during our next trip to Seoul!

My wife and I loved staying at Jenny's place in Gangnam. The space felt like our home while we explored Gangnam. The view from the window, massage chair, and comfortable bed were particularly excellent. There is a train station nearby, and the buses are convenient too. Jenny is a very kind and responsive host. Her instructions are clear, and I always felt that I could have messaged her with any questions. Although we just left, my wife and I are already planning a trip for next year and hope to stay at Jenny's Airbnb again. Thank you for hosting us!

It was a great value for the money, and I had a very spacious and comfortable time! The computer specs are also a PC cafe.
