Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

We are four friends who spent a week together in Nairn in the Marine Cottage right on the beach. That you can see out of the kitchen door directly to the beach, and from the dining table you can see the sea, we found it wonderful! We often cooked in the well-equipped kitchen of the cottage. Also with the layout, with the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the beautiful living room with the fireplace, the cottage suited us four women well and was very comfortable. We had a nice week by the sea in Allasdair's Marine Cottage! And we will definitely come back!

A fantastic house with good sized bedrooms and amazing open plan living space. Great views across a Christmas tree farm to the sea. Handy for Dornoch which is gorgeous, and the wider area. The house has almost everything. And the host responds fast to queries. We had an amazing time and recommend it entirely.

What a little gem of a house. So close to everything with Dornoch town just a gentle walk up the road. Peaceful surroundings in a safe little neighbourhood. The house was just perfect with not a thing out of place. Sarah and Liam have thought of everything and the bed is so comfy. Warm house, spotlessly clean abode! I can't wait to get back as Dornoch is truly spectacular, and this place is the perfect spot to stay. Liam and Sarah a wonderful hosts too making the stay all the more special!!

Lovely location. Stunning house . Had everything provided for dogs also which was great even treats . Communication after checkout has been zero which has been strange as before was very responsive

One of my favorite Airbnb stays! Exactly what I look for when booking for our family. Responsive friendly host and a property that exceeds expectations. Styled beautifully with high end fixtures. Close to all the fantastic golfing in the highlands. Enjoyed Brora and Royal Dornoch. Had a fun spin around the Struie course as well. Enjoyed a stroll around Dunrobin castle and gardens on a sunny morning.

Cottage was excellent in every way, enjoyed our stay, with Chevonne very helpful with any queries we had. Many thanks also to her personally for returning my Nikon battery charger ( by post) which i left at the cottage when we departed. Highly recommend cottage to anyone looking to book.

We’ve stayed at Anne‘s place before and we rebooked because it was so lovely. The beds are comfortable and it was enough room for four people to move around. The location couldn’t be better. Walking distance to everything in Dornoch.

Amazing location with stunning views, great for walks on the beach and surrounding areas with the dog. Lots of villages and towns within driving distance for a day out. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple (and dog), warm, cosy and homely with everything you need to make for a perfect break. Cannot recommend enough and would certainly consider the hosts other locations for our next breaks.

Lovely cottage for the two of us. Charlotte was very responsive with communication, and the welcome pack was great: the freshly baked loaf of bread (still warm in arrival!) was very nice, and the open fire was a nice touch. Peaceful surroundings and a great location when visiting all the historical areas. Cottage was clean and tidy. If we were in staying in the area again, we'd consider staying here for a second time.

Beautiful recently renovated cottage with the perfect location to visit distilleries and the beach

My daughter, wife and I recently enjoyed 2 nights at this wonderful property. It exceeded our expectations in a number of ways. Firstly the property was exactly as represented on the site. It was very modern (beautifully appointed), very, clean and well appointed (e.g. Aesop products in every room). The spacious kitchen had the latest and greatest in appliances. What we didn't appreciate when booking was that we could access all the wonderful amenities of the Boath House estate. The grounds on which the house are located are spectacular, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor breakfast/restaurant was superb. And the dining room in the Boath House is amazing. One evening we enjoyed a gourmet 5 course dinner that we will never forget (highlight of our entire trip). And the chef came to debrief us on the entire meal at the end. A truly memorable experience all around.

A wonderful place to stay. Clean, modern and very quiet and peaceful. Perfect location, easy walking distance to amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed Maggie’s.

Great stay in Hilton for the family. House is clean, well provisioned, and looks like the photos. Friendly and responsive host- and the welcome pack with treats was appreciated after a long day of travel. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the area.

This was the perfect family holiday location, the house had everything and more than we needed. You could walk to the beach from the house in 2 minutes. The beach was perfect for leisurely toddler strolls and evening runs. We cannot wait to plan our next trip, this home is an absolute gem of a find and we hope to return soon. The Old Coast Guard station is a fantastic place to stay and as a base for the NC500. The house is recently renovated to a high standard, is very clean/fresh and has the most beautiful views of the bay and harbour. We traveled with our pup as it is very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and lots of places and beaches to walk nearby. Helmsdale is a nice village with local shops, pub and restaurants only an hour from John o Groats and minutes to lovely beaches. Undoubtedly one of the best holiday homes we have stayed - the views from the balcony are amazing.

Can’t highly recommend John’s place enough. The house is spacious and well equipped. It was clean and so cozy and homey for our stay. The location for the house is great, right on Main Street and walkable to everything in Golspie. Very easy parking and the private back garden was beautiful and so nice to relax in. Also the water pressure is incredible which was great bonus. John was a really great host. He was very proactive and reached out with all necessary information well in advance. He’s also super responsive and easy to get a hold of which is always so nice from a host. He also very kindly left us a basket of local treats on the counter with all the helpful information about the house which was a nice welcome. If you’re thinking of staying in the Highlands near Golspie, this is a really great place to do it.
