Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

I recommend the place for people who want to isolate themselves :)

We had a wonderful 6 day stay in this little corner of paradise with our 2 daughters aged 1 and 5. The house is full of charm, impeccably clean, very well equipped for young and old, with high quality bedding and splendid views. Anja, Raphael not to mention their son Valentin are adorable , particularly attentive, flexible, present and discreet at the same time. The location is perfect for visiting the area (including Bern, Neuchatel, Gruyère, etc.) We warmly recommend this address, book without hesitation!

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

Cottage in a great location for visiting the area. The apartment is very spacious and perfectly equipped. The wood stove is really a plus in winter. Thanks to Norbert and Brigitte for their hospitality! We'll be happy to go back!

The purpose of my stay was to recharge, mission accomplished! My dog's company was accepted with kindness and benevolence... and for me it was very important... I appreciated the little touches and the cleanliness of the place. Great hikes on site and nearby, the place is also suitable for cyclists, mountain bikers and road cyclists. Great location right on the lake. Wonderful amenities. Directly across from the Villette VD train stop. The house was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. The views were amazing. My husband, myself, daughter and son in law had plenty of room. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen too. Incredible trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beatrice’s place is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed, it looks exactly like the pictures and the pool is very well maintained, we enjoyed our one week stay to the max. We have a six month old baby with us and the place is perfectly equipped with everything we need, including the baby crib, changing table, baby bath, baby seat and even a baby pool floatie!

Such an amazing location and host!! An absolute must if visiting the area.

it was a perfect getaway in Switzerland, we would definitely come back here. away from all the busy tourists, this place was right in the middle of mountains. perfect for people who would like to be in nature, hiking, mountain biking and lot more possibilities around.

Perfect accommodation! We took this apartment for a family weekend at EuropaPark (only 20 minutes by car), we all left delighted. The accommodation is clean, accessible and has more than necessary inside. The accommodation is decorated with great taste, with small details everywhere in the apartment. It was a pleasure to stay here, and we will definitely come back. I recommend Iris's apartment to everyone. Thanks for the stay.

We had a great week at Mimi and Dominique's. The place was very nice as well as our hosts. The recommendations for hikes, activities, restaurants and the services offered were a treat. We had a great stay at Françoise & Serge's. The studio has a wonderful view of the lake and is super connected by train, tram and boat. In the four days we were able to experience a lot and the tourist card of Neuchâtel makes exploring all the easier! We will definitely recommend the area and the studio.

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Simply spectacular space. One of the best accommodations we've had to date. The house is located in a quiet area, with an incredible view. All kitchen items and furniture are new. By the way, the decoration is very tasteful. The hosts are very polite and kind. We will certainly return for a longer period.

Irene was an amazing host . She was very responsive and helpful right from the time of booking upto the end of our stay . We were a group of 6 people and it was a comfortable fit with very good kitchen amenities and washer / dryer facilities too . The living space was amazing where the whole group could spend lovely evenings together and in complete privacy . The place is in a very quiet area so one needs to drive out 10-15 min for restaurants . We loved our time here and thank Irene for being such a warm lovely host

We loved this place. It’s set in beautiful surroundings in a quiet and charming alpine village. It’s has everything you could possibly need. Delightful décor and generally very comfortable. There are lovely lakes to visit close by. Jill was incredible. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend it and would love to return.

Nicolas was very proactive about contacting us prior to our stay to ensure our questions were well answered prior to our stay. When we checked in, he came by to say hello and made sure everything was okay. The home was also very well maintained, spacious and had amazing views of the lake! It is within walkable distance of the train station and parking is also conveniently available in the village. The village is very quaint and everyone was very friendly. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

It was a wonderful apartment, I could just as well recover from a busy time at home. From your window and outside around the house, you have a beautiful view. It is wonderfully quiet and the apartment is equipped with every comfort. You can park the car next to the house, you have to go up stairs to reach your apartment. All windows and the door are fitted with screens, so flies do not enter. There is a washing machine in the bathroom and I have to say, everything was perfectly arranged. Thank you for the hospitality and the wonderful apartment!
