Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Douglas County

The first Airbnb cancelled our reservation after we arrived, due to house cleaning. I immediately tried to book Rodneys home and due to unseen circumstances, we were unable to secure the home that night. I reached out to him the following day and they bent over backwards to help us secure their home. They had not planned to rent the home that weekend, so a few things were left undone by the owner, and I was more than happy to help clean them up. The owner was thankful, and I was thankful. The owner and I communicated all weekend long as to how the house was and if there was more that I could do for them, and needing more time to checkout, since we were in Tahoe for a soccer tournament and my husband was coaching 2 teams so our time was short. I hope when they arrived at the home today they were happy with how we left the home. We plan to return and use this home again. Thank you Rodney and Austry

The house was big. It had five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. It does not have AC so we kept the windows open most of the time. There are ceiling fans. Our blanket had lots of pet hair on it so we didn’t use it. The floor was dusty so our feet were black but we just washed our feet. Very well equipped with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils. We enjoyed the patio area. Very private as it’s not too close to neighbors. We liked the ice machine. Evolve responded when we checked out. I didn’t have to contact them during our stay. I would recommend additional kitchen and bath towels for guests. Thank you for letting us stay in your home for our Mother’s Day celebration.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The unit is beautiful, comfortable and as described. It was well equipped with everything you would need. Clear instructions were provided making checkin simple. The hot tub was ready when we arrived which was much appreciated. The location was serene and quiet which was exactly what we hoped for with a short drive into Stateline. Highly recommend staying here!

Ksenia’s place is in prime location to Heavenly (7min walk from California lodge). The house is beautiful and spacious, perfect for a group trip as well as remote work. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we could it hope for. We appreciated her prompt responses and communication.

My family and I spent two nights at this place and we loved our stay. Pavel was very nice and professional. We appreciate him giving us an extra couple of hours to stay before checkout. The house has a lot of beds, rooms, doors, and stairs. Lol! But don’t get me wrong, it was great for us. Perfect for a big party of families and friends. The location is also close to downtown.

Absolutely stunning retreat nestled in the mountains of Lake Tahoe! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The cabin itself was immaculate, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, offering great local tips and maintaining the best communication I have ever experienced with AirBnb. We spent our days hiking nearby trails and our evenings relaxing by the fireplace or stargazing from the hot tub. This Airbnb truly exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway :) if I could go above 5 stars, I would.

An excellent condo, spacious for a few people. kitchen had plenty of utensils and decent pots and pans. dishwasher worked well. location is excellent, exactly what you want when booking something next to the lifts at Heavenly. Hot tub was frequently used!

Check in process was easy, house was clean, clear instructions for check out provided in advance. Overall a positive experience!

Cannot beat the location! Place is very clean and comfortable! Beds were great and so were the showers. They stock the apartment with plenty of paper towel, towels, toilet paper, soap which is very nice! Note there are 4 flights of stairs which isn’t bad throughout the stay just keep in mind when unloading and loading your car. Hosts were really responsive when we had questions or needed assistance. Would recommend and stay there again!

We had a perfect week at Tony’s place. As intermediate skiers it was amazing to just drop into the Boulder trail from the back of the building or carry our skis for a short block and drop into Stagecoach Return and ride the Stagecoach lift. We had the mountain to ourselves in the beginning of the day. It was a priceless experience! Unit 26 was perfection. One of us slept on the couch without even folding out the bed. It was that comfortable! The other two took the bed and slept soundly. Because this is a timeshare everything we needed was already there. Even though it’s just a one bedroom it’s very spacious and we had no trouble bringing all the ski gear inside to dry. The foyer is big enough for all our ski and snow boots. The bathroom is very comfortable with the raised Jacuzzi. We cooked a few basic meals and had everything we needed. Tony was responsive and helpful. The host Bryan at the front desk is also very nice. We will be back!

My husband and I went for a two night stay, and the resort exceeded our expectations. The king studio was clean, and the bed was comfy. Check in was super easy, and the staff was attentive and nice. The resort is in a perfect location to the lake, and minutes from the casinos. There are enough eating spots around the resort that you honestly don’t have to leave if you want to just hang out and relax. There are plenty of activities to do at the resort as well. I would definitely recommend renting a space at this resort through Brooke. Great stay for an excellent rate. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

It was lovely, they let us check in about an hour early, an check out an hour later than the regular time. Much appreciated.

We absolutely loved staying in this cozy Air BnB during our stay in Tahoe. The pricing was really affordable compared to surrounding hotels, and being walking distance from the lake and nearby stores/restaurants. The room was spacious and we felt at home, including being able to save on meals and cooking in the kitchenette. The kitchen came with basic cooking supplies and made cooking so much easier. The bed was huge and comfortable so we were able to sleep well after long days at the lake. Our host Ericka checked on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay and we look forward to renting again on our next trip!

My son and I stayed here for my birthday trip. This place was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved it

This place is nice and Nathan was great. Lots of amenities. I played some racquetball for the first time in ages while I was there. The only issue I had was the lack of AC, but that would only be an issue if you happened to be there on one of the dozen or so days a year when it is hot enough to matter, like I was during my visit. The rooms do have ceiling fans, so that helped.

I had an absolute wonderful time staying at this place. It was close to all the shops, restaurants, beaches in the local area, as well as a great stargazing area where we were able to see the ark of the Milky Way, which was about a 30 minute drive. The home made us feel invited And the kids had a great time, especially with the barbecue and the outside picnic area on the porch. No complaints at all and would recommend this to anybody!!!

Location was in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Walking distance to many restaurants within 3-5 minutes. Casinos were about a ten minute walk. House was as described, beds were all comfy, house was clean and Shannon was very responsive. Really enjoyed our stay.

Jane was a wonderful host and very responsive. We had a great 1 night stay. The condo was cozy and welcoming after a long day of skiing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hot tub/sauna bathroom was a treat. Will definitely want to stay again in the future.

The cabin was super cute and perfect for our quick but great little stay. My oldest son loved the loft! We’d love to come back when there’s snow and enjoy the cozy vibes all over again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed at Sybil’s place for a week and it was a dream! We loved cooking our own meals, enjoying the sunset/sunrise, and walking to/from Stagecoach. We had no issues with the internet connection and were able to successfully stream our TV shows. The convenience and peacefulness of Sybil’s studio was truly unmatched. We were provided with a handbook before our stay which outlined everything we needed to know. Sybil was also very responsive to our messages. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have imagined a better place to call home for our ski trip.
