Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls. It has 1 bedroom, a toilet, a living room with a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen, AC, TV, Wi-Fi and a barbecue grill outside. The views are magnificent over the region's vineyards and the Douro River. Excellent choice for a few days of rest, a week or a weekend.

Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. The studio is part of the large authentic private house of the Dutch owners, located in Provesende, a traditional and, for several years, protected wine village in the heart of the Douro Valley. UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the house are three studios with their own entrance and two rooms. The garden and swimming pool are for communal use.
