Family-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown, Asheville

Melissa’s place was perfect for our group of 3 gen-xers to gather for a high school reunion. We had ample room and the hot tub was lovely. The Biltmore was a 5 minute drive away and we were close to downtown for restaurants and sightseeing. We had a great time, thank you!

Really lovely guest suite in a perfect location to explore Asheville and the surrounding mountains. I stayed for a month and was so pleased with the location. There's a nice little local bar and a coffee shop less than a mile away. The space was very comfy (especially the bed!) and cozy and felt like a small home away from home. Hosts were super nice people, kind and proactive. There's no TV, which was perfect for me! Good WiFi. I will definitely stay there again if/when I'm in Asheville.

Beautiful spot. Matthew is a gentleman host who made us feel at home. Bungalow had an Aspen ski vibe which added a flair to the snowfall. The hot tub was warm and roomy, so says this zoftig lady. The snow views were gorgeous. Definitely would stay again.

We loved our stay! Everything we wanted to do was in close proximity and the recommendations for food were amazing! Our stay was peaceful and the cottage itself was lovely.

Ren’s place was awesome! The house is secluded enough to feel liek you’re away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but not super off the beaten path. Ren was super friendly as well and provided good instructions for getting to and from the house. The hot tub was really nice as well and didn’t require a bunch of steps to use. Would definitely go back for a weekend away trip!

We stayed here with another couple and had a lovely stay. Lots of great amenities, big, very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, snacks and coffee. Instructions were clear. Check out and other 'rules' were very reasonable. All four of us mentioned that we would love to stay here again.

This home is one of the prettiest places I have stayed off of air bnb! It is every bit as good as the pictures you see. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quaint peaceful experience!

Great location for a quick family weekend get away. Loved the scenic location, wildlife, and sound of the creek from the comfy porch. Listing as described, kitchen clean and functional. Beds/pillows clean and comfortable. Location close to Asheville and local attractions.

This is a quaint ADU located very close to downtown. The location is peaceful with great Mountain views. The check in process was easy and convenient. Our host Kim was always responsive, accommodating, and proactive. The bedroom is located up some steep stairs but was not an issue for us but something to consider. I would consider staying again when I want a peaceful setting but close to downtown.

Location was very convenient, close to things while still feeling private. The cabin was great and back deck was a perfect spot to relax. Jody was very responsive and communicated well during our stay, I would definitely book this place again!

A great place to stay in asheville! Rom and Dawn were incredibly welcoming and the place had all we needed to have a great weekend! Highly recommend.

Smithson’s place was perfect for us. Very clean and cozy! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that had full pots and pans and spices too! He was so kind to help me with a package debacle and always fast and nice responses. He made us feel at home and welcome. We enjoyed playing basketball on his side of the fence. Very dog friendly and also quiet. I enjoyed reading in the porch every morning with my coffee. Was also close to everything we wanted to go do! Highly recommend!

Our favorite place to AirBNB. We have been snagging this place every time we come to Asheville for several years now and plan to continue to stay here any other time. My wife and I joke that this place is basically our own mountain house and the biggest perk is that we don't have to deal with up keep, taxes, insurance, etc. Thanks for taking care of all that Ben ;-)! We can always count on this place being super clean, fully stocked with every thing we need and giving us that ultimate homey vibe. Will be back soon!

This is the second time I have stayed at the Tree House Studio, and I will do so again. The location is an easy drive to downtown Asheville and all the wonderful things to do there. The Studio is quiet, private, clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The posted pictures are an accurate representation of the space. Susan is a wonderful host, ensuring your comfort while not intruding on your privacy. I highly recommend a stay at the Tree House Studio!

This was such a lovely place! Very peaceful. When we arrived, there were snacks for us, which was a really nice touch. The place itself had everything we need for a getaway from Colorado!

A great place for a vacation. Carolyn was a great host and was very responsive to all our queries. The cabin was extremely good and had all amenities. It also had board games for the kids. My kids enjoyed the hot tub as well. The place was very neat and had an upgraded kitchen.Would definitely recommend for a vacation stay.

Great place, relaxing and very clean! Shane is a great host, he made sure everything was in great shape before we checked in and also gave great recommendations for local activities since we couldn’t use the pool due to weather conditions. Any time I reached out to him, he responded almost immediately. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay here if we visit Asheville again.

Great house if you don’t want to contend with winding mountain roads and don’t mind being 20 minutes from downtown. Perfect location for a relaxing weekend. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed greatly, and expansive back yard gives great feeling of privacy. Rooms were all spacious enough for 8 adults to be comfortable. Would definitely book again for a mountain getaway!
