The boundary of the property at this location runs along the Kumada creek and consequently has free access and opportunities for nature walks. Trout live in the creek so sure the water is very clean. The cabin is surrounded by forests and a young adult, with fire pits in the yard, a volleyball court, and a hot tub available as well. Can fully enjoy nature and privacy.

Kārkliņi was built in 1892 Kārkliņi were wealthy farmers who owned a horse stable, as well as cows, pigs and other animals as they were an integral part of the farm at the time! In 1979 the house was bought from Kārkliņi by my grandmother Zigrīda Stungure who was once a brilliant actress at the Daile Theater, She and her husband Jānis used the house as a summer's residence In 2013 I took over Kārkliņi. For the past 10 years, I have returned the house to its original form as it was in 1920

From the photos, it seemed like an old apartment, but in reality, you're staying in an old, yet renovated manor. It's peaceful, it's beautiful and right next to the river Gauja. The place was lovely! 😍 Right next to the sea and in a quiet neighbourhood. The place itself was well equipped for a short stay. And we felt welcomed, they even thought about our furry companion! The host was very kind, helpful and responsive. We could even leave a car on the premises after checkout while going for another beach walk. Good value for money, would love to come back!

Stunning views of the lake from the cabin, really serene and relaxing area. Hosts greeted us upon check in and provided instructions and gave us apples. Very kind. In autumn it was a bit cold, but to be expected. Bed was comfortable, and sauna very convenient and warm. Raiskumeitus brewery nearby is a must try.

Perfect little "chalet" in Latvian countryside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect. Ieva was very helpful and responsive as always. It was our third time and we will come again next year for sure!
