Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. Once again, I am writing a review as I came back within 3 weeks of leaving the country due to family matters and Natasha's lovely treehouse apartment was available again! She was once again super friendly and helpful, always ready to respond to any messages I sent very promptly. I even needed some lemongrass to cook a laksa soup and her Mother who lives next door soo kindly picked some from her garden to use. What lifesavers! I feel very comfortable at her place. It is very clean, spacious and private. I feel safe there and will definitely stay again in the future. Honestly such lovely and helpful hosts with a wonderful space!

This was our second stay at Dwimanrose and although we didn’t think it was possible it was even better! We love the house and its layout and the location on a ridge in Dash Valley is perfect .. an exceptional view that never gets old. The patio overlooks the valley and is a great place for relaxing. A car is a must and there is off road parking with carport and electric gate. Rosemary is always available to help with any questions or needs. Thank you Rosemary, we’ll be back!

My husband and I decided to stay at this lovely Airbnb for the 2nd time, and just like the 1st, we were not disappointed. This spacious, clutter-free, and tastefully decorated apartment looks just like the photos. The 1/2 bath on the ground floor was very convenient for us and the a/c in the living room was a huge plus. Side note: most Barbados accommodations do not provide a/c in the living area, just in the bedroom(s), if at all. Huge bonus here! The winding staircase leads up to the ensuite bedrooms (both with a/c). Neither my husband nor I are light packers so we made full use of both rooms with their super comfortable beds, ample closet space, and beautiful vaulted ceilings. The apartment is quiet and peaceful and has everything you'll need for an enjoyable stay (including excellent wifi and water pressure). Many thanks to Alyssa and Terri-Ann, who are always so responsive and accommodated us in every way during our visits. My husband and I will definitely be back!

We (Gf and I), had a blast in BGI and staying at Anique’s crib felt like home. Clutter free, clean bathroom with towels, bath gel and shampoo. Living room was squeaky clean with decent furniture and large TV, except no AC in the living room but the large ceiling fan did the magic. The rooms were very clean and tons of extra bedding sheets and towels in the closet. We will return to Anique’s crib because it hidden in a beauty spot of BGI and very very safe with restaurant/super market and urgent care clinic literally 3 mins walk.

This Airbnb was fantastic! The place was nice, super clean, well equipped and wonderfully quiet. Plus, it's super conveniently located near grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. I'll definitely be back to this apartment!

We spent 5 nights at Talking Trees and absolutely loved it! Although we had a car, we could definitely see ourselves coming back and just relaxing here completely. Angelique’s thorough handbook was very helpful. We’d just add that the Eastside Kitchen at Andromeda Gardens is amazing & we ate there twice! We found plenty of provisions at the small grocery store and fruit-veg stands. You could also stop at a Massy supermarket before coming east if you wanted to buy more than the basics. There’s one a few km from the airport. If you want to get away from the resorts and busyness of the west coast of the island, we’d highly recommend Talking Trees!

We enjoyed everything: beautiful green yard, big terrace, kitchen with all the needed utilities and spices. And the “cat therapy” - there are two adorable girl cats in the compound. If you don’t want them getting too friendly, just keep the wooden doors closed. We personally found these two fur angels a perfect addition to the coziness of our stay. Funny enough, no matter how much we enjoyed the parks and gardens (such as Hunte’s) on the island, we still saw monkeys much more often when we were in the apartment, as they roam freely in the area. The closest beach occurred to be truly the best one for swimming and fish watching. Savvy on the Bay is less than 10min walk from the apt and has live music, bar and a variety of Caribbean dishes. Our favorite food truck was definitely Jamaica Plantation. 4A’s Super Mart is the neighborhood store where you can get everything needed for a quick meal, as well as some kitty treats. There are stray cats, remember to give them water as it’s hot:)
