Holiday rentals in Drumlithie

Had stayed here last year. Location is superb, living room windows look directly onto the see, rocky for hundreds of yards when tide out, water directly below window when tide is in. Wife hardly left the flat lol and loved the views. Top bedroom offers superb sea views and you feel like your at sea with the windows open. Worthy of note that access to the property is via 14/15 continuous steps leading to the front door and there is a set of stairs to the top bedroom. (important to be aware of if you've got mobility issues, as my wife has). As we have been before we knew what to expect this time round. Apartment was clean with decent facilities. Provided some feedback to host on some minor issues needing addressed which would have made the experience perfect. Great location to explore. Thoroughly enjoyed stay and will definitely be back. This lodge is a gem find 😊. In a quiet location with gorgeous views. Inside it was home from home. Very welcoming, beautifully furnished with loads of little touches, light and airy. It was spotless and smelt clean and fresh. Welll equipped inside and on the balcony. Stephen and Sandra communicated before with clear instructions, directions as there is no signal until connected to the WI-FI. We loved every moment and wished we had booked a longer stay.

We stayed here for a week -4 adults and 5 dogs. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack which was informative with phone numbers and local amenities, plus it contained multiple treats - an unexpected but welcomed bonus! Beautiful property, very well presented and furnished. Very clean with lots of facilities such as towels, plates, pans, washer and drier etc. surrounding area is so peaceful with a beautiful mountain backdrop. The rear garden is secure and well maintained with plenty of seating and space to relax. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with ample storage. The showers are wonderful - hot and powerful. There is ample parking space straight outside the property. Helen was fab at communicating throughout, and checked everything was ok once we checked in. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. We would definitely stay again 😊

Nina’s place was immaculately clean! We loved being greeted with the snacks and welcome basket. When we saw her and the family we had a great conversation and they were so warm and friendly! The area is nice and peaceful and it is a walking distance from the trail to Scolty Hill which had a beautiful view!! Everything we needed, Nina’s place had and it was walking distance to the town shops and eateries. Would definitely recommend staying here! I honestly wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the most incredible stay at Windy Edge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The photos were stunning when we booked, but the reality exceeded every expectation. The property is modern, beautifully kept, and clearly designed with care – every detail thoughtfully considered. Lynsay and Dave were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location is perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to shops for anything you might need, striking the ideal balance. The views are truly something special, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I’ve stayed in many beautiful places. Waking up to those stunning landscapes each morning was a real privilege. The space itself is spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, my family made the most perfect memories together Can’t recommend Windy Edge highly enough – we will definitely be back xx

A stay at the Queen’s Hut is a magical experience. Having your own secluded lochside setting, amongst a beautiful pine forest is very special. The interior of the hut has been thoughtfully decorated. The hut is a short walk into Aboyne that had a nice pub and good amenities. We loved every minute of our stay.

I stayed at Andy's place for over a month. Andy and Shiri are both very welcoming, they not only open their AirBnB but also their home. We were often invited over for dinner or a 'cuppa' at their house, it was just like being an extended family. Thank you so much for your kind and generous hospitality.

A lovely few days in Stonehaven with the dog. Lots to do; beautiful walks and plenty of places that are dog friendly to eat and drink. Malcolm was a great host, very responsive and considerate. The house was clean and welcoming and in a great location to take advantage of all Stonehaven has to offer. We didn’t move the car at all. Perfect
