Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dubuque County

Beauty on the Bluffs was everything we expected and more. We were so impressed walking in for the first time. This home has unmatched, breath-taking views. So much so, we spent most of our time on the main floor back deck. The historic nature of the home is beautifully preserved as well as having updated modern amenities to make it easy to feel right at home. Even though there are lots of pictures on the site, it's difficult to show how easy it is to access the center of the downtown in minutes with walking. We loved the convenience of walking to breakfast and coffee places, restaurants, cute boutiques, and the farmer's market was in full swing on Saturday (in the summer.) The city exudes charm and so many old homes are beautifully restored in the area. Our family stayed at the house for a long weekend for my son's wedding. Thank you Bradley for being so responsive to text messages. My family had a wonderful time at your property and made beautiful memories there! Bless you!

The house was beautiful and very clean. The view was also amazing and the fire-pit gave it a very cozy feeling.

Home was exactly what we needed for our family vacation and location was perfect. We were very happy with our stay.

Meg's place was a very comfortable and a great place to work from for the week while my son was a day camper at Loras Sports Camp. The house was a quaint old home, nicely remodeled, with a comfortable work-space and all the necessary amenities to make it easy to settle in for a productive week. Appreciated Meg's extra touches of fresh cut flowers and a binder of information with local recommendations!

Needed a home base for the weekend of a funeral, which happened to be at the cemetery across the street. Quiet neighborhood. Really walkable, which was great with our dog. With the heat advisory, we were walking her really early in the day and really late at night and never once felt unsafe. House was honestly just as good as we expected, somehow even more. Really unique and really cute. Plenty of space for us all to spread out and do our own thing or break off into little groups to do various things - but easy to all be together, too. I was put in charge of finding the Airbnb and this one was so good that everybody is making it my job for now on. Definitely recommend the stay and if we’re ever back in Dubuque, I’d definitely stay here again. Good recommendations and appreciate all the work they put into the house.

This is a cute little house in a nice neighborhood not too far from downtown. The decor was great and seemed like a lot of it was original to the house (or at least original to the house in the 70s) which made it a little funky (the stove needed lighting with a lighter, for instance) but just added to the charm. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed! If anyone else is worried by the earlier commenter who mentioned it needed a coffee maker: they have one! It's just in the cupboard. We had a great stay!

This is an outstanding place to stay! The house has all the amenities as described. It was in a great location, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting family. All the appliances are new! Both indoor and back yard were great settings to relax and enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cabin! Jim was extremely friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our time out on the water. Would love to return for another peaceful getaway in the future.

Great spot! Unfortunately Mother Nature was in control, so I wasn't able to enjoy everything they offered lol I would most definitely recommend and come back and stay again without a doubt!

Katherine's place was great for a weekend stay in Dubuque. We were walking distance from the farmers market, good restaurants and breweries. Katherine was a really good host and she was very helpful when we asked for a few extra things for the kitchen. Her house was fully equipped and we appreciated her flexibility with check out. The area is very nice but you can hear the train at various times during the night.

She was always responsive. Even inquired how our stay was and if she could help with anything. Great host great place!

Travel for work and have stayed at one of Ken's places since mid-Feb. Ken is very responsive, flexible, helpful, friendly and I cannot say enough good about him and how easy he made my stay.

Nathan’s home is a unique affordable place with beautiful handcrafted furniture in a relatively quiet neighborhood close to dining and shopping options in the downtown area. Check in was very simple and everything was neat and clean. I highly recommend Nathan’s home if staying in Dubuque.

Good location and close enough to downtown. Enough space for all 11 of us and walkable park for the kids. Hot tub was a perk too!

Great rental! Easy walking distance to coffee shops, cafes, lots of things. Our family of 4 stayed and it was plenty of space, probably more than we needed. Great hot tub and everything was exactly as described. We would stay again!

My family and I needed a place to stay while in town house hunting. This listing certainly did suffice. The home is beautiful and spacious. The beds were very comfy, we also loved that there was a big screen TV's in every room. Plenty of towels and linens. The hot tub was a plus that was definitely enjoyed. I requested a late check out and Spencer was very understanding. He even helped carry luggage. The Finley Place is worth every penny. I would recommend it and would surely stay again.

The property is beautiful! Well kept trails to walk, great yard for lawn games, large fire pit to sit around and lots of wildlife, especially birds! Cottage was cozy, beds comfortable and hot tub clean and well kept. Short drive to Dubuque. We would definitely stay here again 😀

Stay was great. We were able to host a bonfire for our graduate and have plenty of space for everyone to catch up. Beautiful yard. Well taken care of home for us out of towners. Spencer was quick with responses (better than I was!) and delivered what we needed timely. I highly recommend. Location was close to anything as well!
