Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dundee

This was our home base for our golf trip which included stops in Carnoustie and St Andrews and a few others along the way. we had everything we needed to stay in and cook, do some golf laundry and relax on lazy days in the backyard. the bedrooms were comfortable and everything was clean. the local Larick Cafe was great for breakfast, but doesn't open til 10. it is of note that most local food spots in Tayport weren't open on Monday and Tuesday so plan ahead to takeout or eat in! Mary kindly left a personalized note of recommendations on what to do when we weren't golfing and the little amenities in the house like coffee, tea, milk and biscuits were wonderful! thanks for a great trip! 100% recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It had absolutely everything we needed—fully equipped and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The backyard was a real highlight: spacious, well-kept, and perfect for our dog to run around and play. It’s an ideal spot for families. The beach is less than a 5 min drive, with convenient parking right at the beach. The location is very peaceful and quiet, which made for restful nights. The place was spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely, cozy bedding. It made a perfect base for exploring the area—we took trips to the Arbroath Cliffs, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, and even ventured into Fife. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and well-equipped home away from home in a beautiful part of Scotland!

The house is in the most beautiful setting with fabulous walks literally outside the back door. The house itself is great, the pictures don't do it justice. Its very spacious, plenty of room, our daughter, partner and the grandchildren where with us as well as our two dogs. Both pubs at Scone (10 min drive) are good for food, Dundee and Perth are within a half hour drive. The surroundings are just exceptional with great walks close by.

Lovely stay at very convenient house. We love Tayport and enjoyed being right at the centre of the town. The house was comfortable and everything we needed was to hand.

Spotless house with plenty space. The location was ideal for our needs. You can choose where to shop, either en route or at the local Tesco. The walk along the estuary was brilliant for the cockapoo. He loved it.

Lovely stay, warm, clean and tidy, everything we needed and more. Spacious accommodation for a family of 8 and great we could take the dog too.

Great location, albeit it’s on a very steep hill, but the view is worth it! The town is great, with lots to do and see. There’s no shortage of places to eat and drink, all within a short distance. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Our stay at the cottage was lovely. Ashley was quick to respond when we were having trouble with the WIFI . It was so peaceful and managed to spot a dear as we arrived. Would highly recommend. Colin, Michael &Lina.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely two night stay - easy to find, clean cottage, wonderful grounds to explore, lots of great tips from Andrew in terms of things to look out for in the grounds, loved finding the wishing well! The cocker spaniel puppy was a lovely surprise bonus!

Was a fantastic base while visiting family and days out, felt homely and relaxing with the sound of the river. Perfect location for shops and public transport. Will definately use again

absolutely loved Kates place for my short stay! it was cheaper than most hotels & fantastic value for money. the bed was extremely comfortable & the flat was very very modern, much more modern than most airbnbs.

Enjoyed my weekend stay , the apartment is clean and well equipped with all you need, not far from the city centre, parking available up near side street. Parveen was an excellent host , I had one minor problem which Parveen came and sorted. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious cabin a perfect get away for two. Private and peaceful place to have a few days away or have a little celebration. The place is nice and clean has instructions that are straightforward. The hot tub is a fantastic touch. We were. Very happy with our experience and would to love to revisit one day

Lovely modern flat, very easy access and super comfortable and clean. Lovely super king size bed and our host sorted a cot very quickly when we realised there wasn’t one set up. Has all you need and about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre. A Lidl right next door was super convenient for us to cook etc. Would happily recommend!

We absolutely loved our first trip to the Flour Mill. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of easter and dog treats which was such a lovely touch. The decor was beautiful and cleanliness was faultess. We took the bus into Dundee which only took about 10 mins and the bus stop was around a 5 min walk from flour mill. The paths were pram and dog friendly as was the bus. We also visited Broughty Ferry which was a lovely wee town and got there in less than 10mins. House is in a great location. Theres a sainsburys around 2mins away. Emma was a fabulous host. We had a small issues with no hot water on the sat mid morning. Emma had said about her recently installing a new heating system so perhaps a teething issue. But when we went out to Dundee Emma popped round and quickly resolved the problem. She was easily contactable throughout our stay ans even left a complementary bottle of fizz as a token to apologise. We all really enjoyed our stay, and cant wait to return x
